TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

That i horrible if i were there it would be a party because i would make sure that it was ...
The one thing i learned in Fork's was it is okay to be just me i think with life you forget WHO you are .... Yea i am a mom of 5 kids (that i love) i am also a wife BUT i am also ME (MISTY)and i need to let loose and just have fun too who cares what people say .. so many of my pictures From Fork are of me being caught in between a laugh or a wierd smile , carrying a edward and two other barbies around town ...... just having crazy fun.... i think everyone should be able to let go .....
Yea i may own 4 -5 twilight shirts, i run out and buy pop star magazine just because twilight is in it BUt that is what makes it fun.......and twilight jewelery if you want to be subtle but still have fun...
one of my friends make twilight inspired jewelery and i think it is just fun to wear something twilighted every day even in my pj's if you want to check it out pm me and i can give you her esty site ...

DH job loss was sudden but he has education and a degree on his side so we will see ....

you know CP, I love it that you give us these clips but I have no willpower and I watch every single one and Im afraid if you keep giving them to us here then I will have watched the whole movie before next week...so STOP I beg of you

I am so disappointed! My DD8 and I went to our local Borders for their prerelease party tonight. It was a drag! They were supposed to get the replica jewelry, but it didn't come in. They were offering free posters with their $25 purchases, but they ran out. They had no buttons or anything else, only books and a few bookmarks. The "party" was kind of lame. They did a couple of charades, people won movie release buttons. They did a couple of "guess who said this line in the book" quotes, and people won bookmarks (not the nice book marks that they sell, different ones). It was supposed to run from 7 to 8:30 but was done by 7:30. I was definitely bummed.

I'm sorry about your DH's job (and that I missed that part of the post!) and I hope it will work out for the best.

Thanks for saying all that stuff. It's so true. I was smiling and happy and jumping around like a freak of nature for ME. For MY stuff that I get to do. Pretty cool. The great part is that the DD's are too young even if I did want them to go and DH.. well,that's .... yea, it's for ME!

I did get him to read The Host. Every few minutes I get a BIG grin on my face and I say, "Where are you at?" and he rolls his eyes and tells me what's happening and then I say, "You're so lucky!"

I keep telling that story.. it cracks me up.

sounds kinda like the Breaking Dawn release at Borders...I LOVE borders...it is my favorite bookstore, but their release parties are HORRIBLE!!!!

yeah no kidding...we ended up there because the book was cheaper there than at B&N but we hit the B&N store first for most of the night and it was ok but Im glad we decided to do that than just stay at Borders cause they didnt do much

My daughter and I went to the Borders here in Appleton, WI and about 15 people showed up. We all got a free poster, and then had a trivia and quotes contest. They had a raffle for movie tickets, and that was about it. It was done in an hour- but hey, we got a free poster!!!

that is so true for me also i have seen a 15 min clip of edward taking bella home to meet the family and one here or there and i swear i have seen all the good parts BUT then i think this is twilight i have not seen anything yet....

That sucks .... the replica jewelery is awesome.
I made me and a few friends a cullen crest necklace like rosalie's it turned out pretty awesome ... then they go and sell them LOL...

I'm trying to refrain from the clips for two reasons:

1.) So much of what is posted on YouTube is a direct copyright infringement, and while meant with the best of intentions, after what happened with Midnight Sun I do not feel comfortable continuing to participate in it.

2.) The main reason is like others, I'm trying not watch the whole movie before I actually get to see the movie! I can't wait for next Saturday, but I will wait.

Very true. I've sort of resigned myself that most of the characters will not be how I pictured them, but that's fine. I think Emma Watson in Harry Potter does a great job as Hermione, but physically, she is not how I pictured Hermione. That's one of the things about turning books into movies. Heck, the way Meyer's describes her characters does not always jive with how I picture them:

-I always feel like Alice should be a blonde. I don't know why, just do.

-By the same token I always picture Jasper with dark hair even though she states that he is a blonde.

-Jessica I always picture as being taller with straing hiar, but it explicitly states that she is petite with big curly hair.

For me, when I watch a movie based on a book I try to suspend my criticism because ten different people can read the same book and come up with ten different images. For the most part I try to enjoy the movie in it's own right. There's only one movie based on a book that I did not like, and that was Eragon. That was because they completely murdered the story.

no your right the book didnt mention that but the book is really specific on what Laurent was like and its not dreadlocks...Im not knitpicking any of the book like alot of people are because anything else that happens I will go with the flow but it seriously threw me off based upon the precise description of Laurent in the book and we'll just have to see when he uses french because his accent is not french its british
