Oh no! A bear is on the loose!

It took so long into the video before I could see the bear that I thought it was an April Fools thing.

They seem rather alarmist about all this. I thought that bears were pretty common in the hills of Southern California. Certainly near Pasadena and Duarte. And they have easily expanded their range to Ventura County. I have heard that Angeles National Forest received several bears from Yosemite to populate the area, although it was to fill the extirpation of the grizzly bear, as black bears weren’t native to Southern California.
