How are people going to a Thursday Matinee? The film is released on the 21 at midnight so Thursday night/Friday morning. It was my understanding that a theatre can get in a lot of trouble for releasing it early. So there shouldn't be any Thursday matinees.

Several of my friends already have tickets to a midnight showing here in So. Cal 11/19 at midnight! I wonder how the theater is pulling that off??

Hmmm, that article sounds a lot fake to me because Kristen has been saying from the start how respectable fans have been, etc. I've never heard her say anything like that and quite frankly I don't believe it.

Seems a lot like words were taken out of context, probably because some fans were stalking the actors hotel rooms during filming and that's quite unrespectable.

I hope you're right. But the stuff that Rob is quoted as saying is 100% accurate as I saw him say it in the interview.

I don't see how that makes her full of herself. I think she has an honest point. There are simply some books or characters that do not translate well to movies. So far, the only CG babies I have seen were absolutely awful. The caliber of CG for a movie is very different than the caliber for a commercial.

As for sitting there with a pad and a pen, It hink it's great she is so involved in the process. In the end, the movie is still her story. JK Rowling vetoed many things in the Harry Potter movies. It is part of protecting your creative property. As a fan of the book, I appreciate that she does this. It means that the director is making an effort to remain true to her book and her vision. There is nothing worse than going into a film based on a book and realizing that they screwed it over completely. (Eragon anyway?)

It's just my opinion. Doesn't count for much in reality.

I have been doing plenty of that lately.

I'm not trying to start a brawl or anything as truely I don't care, I plan on liking the movie even if it sucks (I can do that), BUT.. Kristen said even in this interview something dumb... she is SO excited about a different role she (may have) got as it was the first time she was excited to play a character! So weird. Just immature, I guess. Not dissing her for enjoying another role but it seemed a little inappropriate to say in that interview while the author of the book whose movie you ARE IN is sitting right there! Just my O... no offense, I swear.. even if she's the sweetiest sweetie in the world it just seemed odd.

It's ok, hehe. I saw that part too, but I don't know, didn't really see it as a bad thing. Whatever the role is she seems to be genuinly very excited about it, but even she said it wasn't a sure thing yet. I don't know, as an actress myself there's always a few roles you're more excited about than others. I mean, just 'cause she's promoting Twilight it doesn't mean it has to be the best experience of her career, hehe

About the earlier article, I was reading the whole thing just know and the whole thing just seems misleading in some points. So yeah, I'm taking those quotes with a grain of salt.

It does not say they aren't making BD, it says that they have the rights to the book, but that Melissa Rosenberg has only been hired to rewrite the first three. I'm sure if they get that far, they'll finish the series. The Harry Potter movies have had different screenwriters and directors.

And, my 2 cents. I don't believe the article at all. I do NOT believe that Kristen would say that to the press. She may be a snotty 18 year old, but she's a savvy smart girl.

I don't know about being a finalist, but I know that Henry Cavill from the Tudors was Stephenie Meyer's first choice for Edward, but he was too old (25) He was offered the role of Dr. Cullen, but turned it down because of his commitment to the Tudors. Kind of sad though, because he is absolutely fantastic on that show (and gorgeous!)

Gerard Way??? hes not an actor...hes the singer from My Chemical Romance besides that was fan suggestions...I took what Brat Tink said was there were actually 4 candidates for the roll...
