I am horrible at knowing how to post pictures but someone on Twilight Moms has posted two pictures from inside EW and the pictures are really great!! I apologize again for not knowing how to put them here. They are on page 15 or 16 of a thread going about the EW cover.

Why one of those pictures wasn't on the cover instead I have no idea. Those are much MUCH better...I actually wish I had to money to go out and get it. If anyone does is there any chance you could make me good quality scans? I'd really appreciate it! :thumbsup2

Those inside pictures are MUCH better. I may buy two copies, now. :thumbsup2

I wonder when they'll put the magazine out... if, for example, I stopped at the store on the way to work in the morning. Or several stores. Maybe I should call around.

I think I have a problem.

Here you go...I did get these from the Twilight Moms site, so if I did something I'm not supposed to..I didn't mean to, so y'all just please be gentle K??;)

and YES...I must say these are fantabulous!!!:thumbsup2

I just saw this at Twilight Moms also. Is this not 10000000% better or what??

Guess they should've had one of the TM do the cover instead eh??

Holy hand grenades folks! If you haven't seen this clip, you simply must!! It puts the film in a whole new context!! The film seems to deviate quite a bit from the book (but since the book is wreitten first person-Bella and the film is not, I am not surprised).

But OH MY GOD!!!

Going a little off topic here ladies. Many in this thread have mentioned Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series..Sookie Stackhouse. Do you know that HBO is making a series out of the books, it premiers in Sept! Its being done by Alan Ball, he was behind Six Feet Under. On that alone I'll watch the show. I just finished the first Southern book and even though I thought it was horribly, poorly written, the story sucked me in and I have the 2nd one on hold at the library. Did anyone else think it was not written well? There were times where I'd get pulled out of the story because I had to reread sentences trying to figure out what she was writing. I was also very, very surprised at the similarities to Twilight. Human and Vampire; a mind reader who can't read the mind of another; being pulled between two men, one a vampire and one a shapeshifter who happens to shift into a dog. . The last one is the only real spoiler and will ruin a big reveal at the end of the book.

Ok, on topic, the EW cover is bad. Rob is going to be the big pull for those not fans of the books and he looks really horrible.

BratTink, I read the first Sookie Stackhouse book, too and liked it! It wasn't the Twilight series but I definitely enjoyed it. I did see that HBO is doing a series based on the books with Anna Pacquin as Sookie. I don't know about that casting but I'll be watching! (Anna Pacquin is great but I just don't see her as Sookie, kwim?)

Thanks for all the clips!! I love them! Oh, Edward is so dreamy!!:cloud9:

Dirty fingernails....eeewwww! That is my pet peeve. My men need to be neatly manicured! :lmao:
ABSOLUTELY! Edward is supposed to be supernaturally beautiful. I would think that would mean a good hair cut and clean nails. The second cover was much better than the first.
Come on don't you think there is something sexy and primal about it?
Yeah, when my guy is working outside, but then, when he's finished, he washes his hands and cleans his nails. That's far more sexy than leaving them dirty.
Sorry, he still looks "corpse colored".
He's undead, remember. In the book, he's supposed to be that pale.

I had to reread some paragraphs, too, in order to understand what was meant. Overall, the story was very good, though. I'm waiting for the next book to be available for me to pickup at the library. I keep meaning to switch from Showtime back to HBO since The Tudors ended. I'll definitely watch this show.

There is a big difference (IMO of course) between looking like a walking corpse, and being pale. I pictured him being very very white, like Michaelangelo's David.

But here's another interesting pic I found while surfing!

I just finished Eclipse last night :goodvibes

I did promise my DD that she could read the new book first :guilty: I can't wait for it :thumbsup2

Has anyone had any luck finding Entertainment Weekly today with the Twilight cover? I checked Barnes and Target over my lunch hour and both had the July 11th issue with Batman on it.
