TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

I read A Midsummer Night's Dream many moons ago in college. Isn't there a queen, or a queen leader of the fairies. And who was her pawn? I'm still stuck on Stephenie stating that Breaking Dawn has ties to this play so we can assume that someone (a queen) is messing with other character's feelings. Is it someone from the Volturi????? hmmmm. I'm almost as excited for this book as I was for the last Harry Potter.

I'm on day 2 of checking every store in town (Twin Cities metro in Minnesota) and still no Entertainment Weekly. My husband is humoring me quite nicely so we packed up the kids for an in-town road trip tonight and visited a ton of stores. Lots of last week's Batman cover, but no Twilight luck.

If anybody has found one in Minneapolis, I'd love to know where!

I haven't seen anything mentioned here unless I missed it but has a full length trailer for Twilight been released yet? A friend and I were browsing YouTube tonight from her new iPhone while waiting for a table at a restaurant...another story, I ate too much and now I want to explode. We found a Twilight trailer but honestly it didn't look all that great. Totally not making me excited for the movie. We thought perhaps it was a fan trailer. It was all Bella with very little action or the Cullens.

So is this the actual trailer or do we have something to look forward too?

That fan made one is just reassembled bits and pieces of work from the actors other films. I finally figured out where I last saw Kristen Stewart. She was Jodie Foster's daughter in Panic Room.

I have not read all of the posts but did everyone know that MTVNews.com has Twilight Tuesdays. They have everything on there from interviews, photos, and vids from the movie and the making of the movie.

Also they have been doing more than talking about making the rest of the books into movies as well (some have said they have signed on- might be rumor) They just want to see how well the first movie will do.

DON'T READ ANY FARTHER IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE BOOKS!!!!

I am enjoying the quote of the day on Stephenie Meyer's web sight. Makes you think though - what happens because the book opens 3 days before the wedding.

the message boards are bursting with dismay, the fans having gotten their first peek at Breaking Dawn's cover. Of course they don't yet know that Meyer herself helped design the image — featuring a chessboard with a white queen piece and a hovering red pawn — or how it relates to the story.

Confused about what? There was some discussion on this thread and on the fan-boards about what the "meaning" of the cover was. Was the piece a queen or a king etc. So now we know that the piece is a white queen. the real question is who IS the queen and who is the pawn.

Same here. I think since the cover is dated July 18 we'll probably get it this Friday.

I was watching (and I'm ashamed to admit) Disney's Sky-High, the other night (with Kurt Russel, about the High School for superheroes). And I realized who SHOULD've been cast as Jacob.

Hands down (are you listening Mrs. Hardwicke?? In the event of a New Moon film...)

If you aren't familiar with him, watch (snicker) Sky-High, he's Warren Peace, the main character's Nemesis. He's also "the guy" in 10,000 BC (which is what I think someone here has mentioned before) and was in the Covenant.
