I actually liked the scene where Alice gets to break James' neck, though! Paid homage to the ability of the vampires to fight.

True. And I liked that it was Alice that finished him up and not Edward. Some people have been complaining about that, but it was nice to not see Edward kill so soon, I liked that Carlisle told him to remember who he was.

Oh I SO agree about the Unborn preview!! Very scary!!

I was so glad that I knew it was coming the second time around.
We had DS (10) with us, and he had a blanket, so I put it over his head and held my hands over his ears. It would have truly scared him to death.

That preview was HORRIBLE! We saw the movie twice, once on Friday night at 8 pm with DD8 and the horrible preview, and again last night at 10 pm (without DD8) and they did NOT play that preveiw. I would have thought they'd play the scarier preview at the later show. Figures! I thought DD was going to have a heart attack! Yikes!

I'm a little scared after reading all these things about that preview. Since it was a special event (Lexicon rented out the theatre) there were no previews when I saw it. I am going tonight with a friend and I'm nervous.

We just got back from our second viewing. They must have had complaints, because they did NOT show the Unborn preview again this time, thankfully! That was awful!

I'm really glad we saw Twilight again! I was able to relax and enjoy it more, and catch more stuff, and notice the music more. I liked it the first time, but I like it even better now. Although, I will say that this time I noticed it more, how some of the dialogue is pretty lame.

I agree on the "Unborn" trailer- just horriblE!! Too much if you wanted bring anyone 13 and younger to the movie.

Did anyone else think Carlisle's makeup was just TOO White??

Also my daughter saw it for a 3rd time last night, and from a tip I read, Edward does mouth the words "I love you" after he says "You are my life now" when the cars take off in the garage. How cool!!

Well, dang. We just got back from our second viewing. I guess I will have to sneak off and see it a third time, 'cause I didn't catch this.

I took DD13, and I have to tell you, I was a little uncomfortable watching the kiss while sitting next to her. You can't get all hot under the collar with your DD13 sitting next to you.

Oh, and some guy sitting down front was obviously out to embarress his teenaged daughter. During the part where Edward steps into the sun and sparkles, suddenly this big deep voice bellowed, "He's SO HOT!" The entire audience just burst into laughter! It was funny, but I'm glad he didn't repeat it, once was enough!

i just got back from my second viewing. i loved it the second time out.

my first viewing (midnight screening) i felt hesitant afterwards. second time i just felt so much more relaxed and really enjoyed the movie.

i did notice that they do many eye close-ups, i could see everyone's contacts.

when i first saw the movie i saw in the credits a credit for lizzy pattinson (rob has a sister named lizzy) for vocals. so my second viewing i tried to pay attention to where those vocals may be, the only place was possibly the last part of the score leading into the credits. does anyone know for certain?

Couple things about Forks' Chamber of Commerce "Twilight" map-- they picked out a couple of houses as what they thought were Charlie's house and the Cullen's house. But locationally they were all wrong. Charlie's house is supposed to be a little bit out of town and backing on the forest. Although the one they had looked good as far as the description. We drove past it though I didn't take a picture. "The Cullen's house," though, was in town, and it is a B&B in a blue Victorian style. Totally wrong, of course, as any Twilighter knows; it's a ways out of town north on 101, and 3 miles off a side road. Plus it's white, 3 stories, andlocated in a big clearing with cedar trees with a river running in the back. (this bothered me in the movie, that they didn't stay true to the book's description of the house and its surroundings. It's going to make a difference, especially in Breaking Dawn, if the movies get that far--hmm.. they better!)

Luvdzne: Remember, not all vampires have special talents. (Carlisle, Rosalie, Esme, and Emmett are examples). Victoria does have a gift, but is not an obvious one. In the third book her gift is for evasion. She has a sxith sense of when it is time to retreat, which is why the wolves have such a hard time getting her in the second book.

I saw the movie with my dd and her friend tonight! I was by far the oldest in the theater. I liked the movie better than I thought I would as I went in to it with not a lot of high expectations. I have not been a fan of Kristen but I do think she made a great Bella. Her natural awkwardness made her a perfect fit. I also think Charlie's part was played very well. I can't wait to see it again!

Someone mentioned Carlisle's makeup, I also thought it was a little too white. He seemed a little too made up to me.

okay so i don't know if it's just me, but jackson rathbone [aka jasper cullen] looked A LOT like edward scissorhands in twilight. not in general, but just the way he looked in twilight. XD

The movie theatres are told what trailers to put on the movies. The movie Unborn is a Rated PG-13 movie and that is why it was on there. But, our theatre has been told to remove it, so I would imagine that all theatres are being told the same thing. I do agree that it was a awful trailer.

Also it may have been on there because Cam(James) is in it .. we only had Harry potter and a new movie that was kinda like heroes ...
