Tusker Timing

We have 9:15 ressies at Tusker House in October. I thought that 15 minutes would be enough time to get FP's for Kilamanjaro and then go to breakfast but after more thought I don't even know if 15 minutes is enough time to walk back there with two seniors and two pre-schoolers to just make our ADR. Any thoughts? Should I try to make it later or will they let us into the park early even though or reservation is for a time after opening? Thanks for any help!

No they won't let you in the park early. What you do is when the park opens they go to the resturant and you take all the tickets and go fast pass them. You will be much faster on your own then dragging everybody else.

This restaurant is very close to the safari. If the park opens at 9:00 you will be able to get your FP before your ADR.

We actually had a 10:30 ADR for Tusker house (In January), and ended up at the park by 8:15 (I guess we were over-anxious about rope-drop!). I decided to try to see if we could get in the park early to try to eat earlier, and they did let us in, but we were told we would have to go straight to the restaurant (not a problem!), and we only had to wait about 5 minutes before we were seated, and were out by 9:15, and then onto KS!

I certainly don't think it would hurt to get to the park, even by 8:30, and then you could leasurely walk to the restaurant (it is a little hike) to still make your 9:15 ADR.

We're going in October as well and have 9:15 a.m ressies....wonder if it is the same time! Our ressies are for the 6th.

And I'm a Jersey girl who got transplanted to PA...but my heart is still in South Jersey!
