Tusker House - different sides?

Hi- I'd really like to try Tusker House at AK on our trip next week, and a few of the things on the menu appeal to me (I'll be splitting many meals between dh and our ds and dd), HOWEVER, the sides as they are stated in the menu just won't work out well for our splitting option. I don't eat mashed potatoes at all and I'd love to get the chicken...will they allow any other sides (fries, applesauce, other veggie?). Also the turkey wrap will likely be a good option to split but I don't think the corn chowder will go over well for splitting...so, same question - will the honor request for different side items?

Not sure if it matters but yes, I will be on the dining plan.

I don't know if it's allowed for everything, but I was there last week using the dining plan, and I got the fried chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes instead of fries with no problem.

I don't know for sure, but I would think they would allow you to switch. When we were there in August they allowed DS to have a fruit cup for dessert. I didn't see them on the menu, so I didn't order any dessert for him. When we got up to the counter where you get the food I asked if he could have a fruit cup, and they gave him one with no problem. We were on the dining plan.
