Good morning and almost noon to all you Turkeys!!!! Only ONE more Saturday to suffer through!!!

Ima Princess, the state fair in FL is always in Tampa, at least as long as I have been alive (I am 42). Just off of I-4 somewhere near exit 4 or 5. Of course my memory might be a little off!!!

I have been showing DW pix from the Picture of the Day thread, mainly of the Pirate buffet and chocolate late night buffet. I know it's mean and could be considered teasing, but it shows her what she is in store for!!!

Hi everyone!! I was able to go on another outing today...Mason had an orthodontist appointment and needed a haircut before the bar mitzvah next weekend. Mason was supposed to get an upper and lower expander...the upper fit fine, but the lower did not. So, they took another impression and will make a new type of appliance. The date they wanted us to come back...November 21st. I told them sorry, we have other plans that day!!

Of course, while we were at the orthodontist, a coworker called on my cell to see how I was doing. Since it was noisy, I told her that I was with Mason at the Orthodontist. She said, great...if I am ok to go to the Orthodontist...then I should be ok to come to work. In any event, I explained that it's very different sitting on my butt at an appointment wearing sweats as opposed to working a full day...and that I would be back on Nov. 17th per Doctor's orders!!

Don't let them push you...I had surgery and let myself get pressured into returning to work too soon and it created complications that I was unaware of for years to come...and caused me to have serious problems later AND resulted in another surgery. Please do not make that mistake!!
