Lisa, hug away on me!!!! DW won't get jealous, either!!!! Political correctness is way overrated, outdated, whatever. Like you said, people can tell you if they don't want to be hugged. I come from a family on both sides that hugged a lot. I'd almost be offended if I didn't get hugged!!!

Wow....the small priority mail flat rate boxes are REALLY small....like large paperback/small hardback small! I'll let everyone know but it looks like I've got the right shipping for AlwayslisaD; Dustermom02; Jeniamt/Miss Judit; DB4Huskers; Mickeyhugger; lynnivey and lcoasterdisfan. Everyone else, I'm sorry, but it looks like you may owe me a few dollars on shipping. I'll know for sure after I head to the PO tomorrow but I had planned on using the small boxes for up to 4 shirts and I did really well to get 2 in them!

My DH it taking our 7 year old to his first Georgia Bulldog game tomorrow...while they are gone, I'm taking our 5 year old on I hope is the last shopping trip prior to the cruise. I'm going to get him the Captain Mickey I read about on the main board that they have at Macy's. I'm also hoping that there is still a Disney Store at the mall we're going to. It's time to get everything organized and ready to go.

Hi Everyone,

Just got back from This Is It. Honestly, I can't even describe it. The best concert we never got to see.

I know people have conflicting feelings on MJ. After his death I read the book Michael Jackson Conspiracy. Its by Aphrodite Jones. It is about the second trial. She is the author who wrote the book Boys Don't Cry. Anyway, she thought MJ was guilty and during the trial was on tv about it. After the not guilty verdict came out, she was suprised and decided to research it more. This book is all about what she found out and why she believes he was absolutely, 100% not guilty. I highly suggest you read it if you are interested in Michael.

First movie I have ever been to where people were singing along and the person next to me was dancing in his seat so much, my chair was bouncing the entire time.

Oh for all you New Moon fans-

The first preview was for New Moon. People actually cheered and shouted after the preview was over. DH could not stop laughing because people were cheering for a preview. Said that was a first for him.

Ah well, tomorrow will be busy. Andrew is going to work on the last of our FE items. I'm going to pick up the house -- we've got 15 people coming for dinner and then we're all going to a Trivia Night -- how do I get myself into these things? And, by Sunday before I go to bed, I'm going to have the last of my HUD grants done!!!!!

I found out today that for some odd reason we get Veterans Day off. Mind you I'm not complaining as it gives me a great day to click submit and wait for 17 hours for grants.gov to accept my grants...but I've never had Veteran's Day off -- not even when I worked for a Member of Congress in the US House of Representatives! Nope, not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but it still seems odd to me.

Now for an oddity. Our 65+ pound Belgian Sheepdog named Wendy is behaving strangely. She won't lay in an open area in the living room. Instead she suddenly has to lay under this huge buffet I have. I wonder if she's predicting an earthquake or something ? She just started doing it last night and Steve and I both wonder what's up with her. Who knows....maybe she's just decided that no one can trip over her if she lays there .

Well, off to make a list for Sam's. I need snacks for Trivia Night and laundry detergent and fabric softener and paper towels and peanut butter and......

My first two years down here I worked in Osceola County (Kissimmee area). The thing I found oddest was we didn't get President's Day off, however 4 days later we did get Rodeo Day. Thats right folks. A day to celebrate at the rodeo.
