Hi, Everybody!

I am home and recovering.

This all started last Friday. I was working the concession stand at our high school football game. I was living it up too; eating sloppy joes, hot dogs, popcorn, several cups of hot chocolate...

Then, about 5:00 AM Saturday, it hit me. I had the worse pain in my right side. I tried everything I could think of to get rid of it but nothing worked.

After youngest DS left for work I decided to take a trip to the emergency room. I thought I would be there awhile but I had no idea what was coming! They did an ultrasound. They found stones and my gall bladder was inflamed. They said I wasn't going home and they admitted me!

I had bloodwork done Sunday and surgery was yesterday at 11:00 AM. Ironically, Monday (Oct 12th was my late mom's birthday) By 5:00 PM I was home!

I am off work for a week. The dogs are happy to have me home and I am slowly getting better.
