TTC thread take 2

So, after two years, countless ultrasounds and meds we have done it on our own! I got a POSTIVE this afternoon when I tested!

I really didn't know when to expect AF because I stopped tracking in November after our failed IUI attempt. I wanted to make sure I was safe to drink while we are in Las Vegas this weekend - guess I won't be drinking!

The worse part is I can't reach Paul! He is in Vegas in meetings and hasn't answered his phone! I think I am going to explode!

OK so we are good to go for Thursday! We need to be at the office for 10:15 AM and the transfer will occur at 10:30 AM, 1/13. Now 13 has been a good number for us! We got married on 12/13 and when we got married again, we got married on 1/31, 31 reversed is 13! I know it's a stretch but it works for me! and of course look at the time, 10:30 am which is another 13! Yahoooza!

PS my butt still hurts. . .

Good luck E! I'll be thinking of you on Thursday. BTW....13 is my lucky number too! I completely agree with the 13/31 logic!

Thanks guys! I am pretty nervous - I haven't been taking my vitamins, but I have been taking cough meds due to my wonderful coughing!

I really wanted to tell someone, but I don't want to make a full a announcement because we had a miscarriage the last time. It was pretty awful having people ask after our loss.

MommaSnowWhite...Congratulations!!! We finally got a BFP after "giving up" as well! I took myself off of every single med my OB/GYN and the RE had put me on. Found out I was pregnant the night we returned from our WDW/DCL trip...so I was riding all the thrill rides and enjoying the DCL drink of the day while pregnant. I was nervous about that, but my Dr calmed my fears and everything has gone well. I hope you have a wonderful, uneventful pregnancy. Enjoy Vegas!

Morning! OK so our donor gave us 17 eggs yesterday! 5 fertilized over night; 5 didn't make it so there are 7 left that they are going to reinject and see how they grow. Out of the 7 they will see how they do and if they grow then they will be frozen for us. It's the 5 that they have right now that we are going to use on Thursday! We will use 2 of the 5 on Thursday. Please keep our 5 little embroys in your good thoughts. pixiedust

Well I go thursday to the DR and will probably start Lupron injections that night.

Congrats MSW!!! Were you taking Robitussin? I know some women that take it not for a cough but because they say it helps with cm and helps the swimmers along, lol. Maybe your cough helped.

Thanks Guys! I called the RE office today and told them. They want me to get a blood test tomorrow. They told me if I go in the morning they will have results in the afternoon. I'm not sure what results they are looking for, but I figured out I am at about 6 weeks!

so 7 didn't fertilize at all yet? I guess they are doing rescue ICSI on them?

My head is still swirling with Rose's FAB news! So exciting! Did you speak to your hubby yet? When are you going to Vegas? You should tell him to place bets on the conception date AND the date you found out so you can celebrate even more!

The RN called me this am and told me that 2 more eggs had fertalized overnight so we have a total of 7 now which is great! I'm actually a little confused. I think I told you all we were at a wake on Sunday night. Both of us drank as we thought that Monday's sample was a SAMPLE! We didn't think they were going to USE it for Monday and since I was writing everything down I wouldn't have missed it. Oh well, I guess I have to chalk it up to alot of other people have gotten preggo while under the influence and all has been good! Well, if all goes well, and we have a little cherub he/she may come out with a church key in hand!

Ckret ~ Good luck on the lupron! The first couple of days I was ok, in the middle i got emotional, then it evened out. I'm also thinking that environment had alot to do with emotion so keep positive chickie!

I'm so thankful for all of you and your support means the world to me! I am going to take it all with me tomorrow! I'm still trying to figure out how to see if I can take off on Friday We'll see. . .

E- I did finally talk to DH - he is excited too. Feeling a bit nervous too, but excited!

I am leaving here tomorrow, but I am driving to Illinois and dropping the girls off at the In-laws for the weekend and then flying out of OHare! I will be thinking and praying for you! I am flying back on Monday am (red eye) and then driving home.

So I had a blood test today and the RE office called to tell me that my number was low. It may not be, I don't have an exact day when AF came. Now I am freaking out a little bit. I did schedule an ultrasound for 1-25 because they should be able to see a heart beat at that point. Crossing my fingers!
