TT Refridge

I'll have to disagree with you. RV refrigerators are built to run on propane while traveling. They should be turned off while refueling you vehicle. Most states also require you to turn off the propane while driving through a tunnel. We plug our TT in a few days before we leave to get the fridge cold and then run off propane while driving to keep everything cold. If you do not fell comfortable leaving your propane on, your fridge will probably stay cold for about 4 hours or longer.

I agree. There is no inherent danger in running the fridge off the propane while travelling as long as you take the precautions you have advised. Otherwise, you have a giant cooler in your TT, and it will stay cold for a relatively short period of time. I have found that it will stay colder longer if it is full of cold stuff, and some of the food is put in frozen.
