I wonder how this test went in the eyes of Disney, and what they see as the end game?
How about another experiment: I wish they would try the Universal system just for one day (deluxe/moderate or purchasers have unlimited no-reservation access to most rides). It takes 30 seconds to explain, and everyone understands clearly. I would guess 99% of Universal customers understand how it works.
How long does it take to explain completely the current Disney system? What percent of the customers completely understand it? Every time they tweak it more people are confused, and it becomes a burden for so many. Many who do understand are happy, but it appears many more who do not understand, plus many of those who do, are unhappy. At least they have more time to shop and eat.
I hope this experiment leads them to trying more variations. Just announce it in advance!
