TSM standby-less test Oct. 6-9

There are no FP+ slots left for today.



The point is not to make reservations in days in advance. It's to do it the same day as they appear to release a different pool of FP+ slots in the morning to reflect the extra capacity of there being no standby line.

I just checked trying to make FPs for a party of two - I am able to do so. They are available.

Where are you checking FP availability? Maybe something is wrong with your app or your internet connection.

I can get two now as well, but not three. I reserved the two...can you still get them?

I just checked and I am able to get a FP for TSMM tomorrow (at least for a party of one).

Did you not see my post about two hours ago saying they weren't available for 4 people tomorrow?

Sure, before I ever post anything I make sure to check lugnut33's posts for the last four or five hours.

I grabbed those two and when I try "Select New Time" it says "There are no alternate times currently available. Try Again"

I was able to book 3 when I checked- also could book 3 for at least thru th 9th. I can't check for more than 3, but if the whole point is to reduce availability, not actually ride, I would think one would take whatever availability there was.

I suspect all us ap folks are eating up availability playing with the system, so I'm done checking. Point is, there's availability. There aren't ALL gone.

Does anyone know what they are going to do during extra magic hours when they do not give out fastpass' during that time? i had planned on going on the ride during that time since Fantasmic is on the same tier as TSM and only give one or the other the fastpass... Any info would be much appreciated

As long as you enter with two or less people you're golden.

They start handing out return times at DL for A/E during early entry. Times are lasting about 90 minutes each day, so only 30 minutes into regular park opening. And the open early there 3 days a week.

But it was easy- only took a few seconds to grab and copy. Super easy.

But have they truly failed? By OUR standard, they have been abysmal failures of monumental proportions. But that assumes that Disney's desired outcome (i.e., what they are testing) is the same as ours. I submit that they are NOT and that despite the epic disasters that guests are experiencing, the results being reported back to the decision makers are that the tests have all been a smashing success. And depending on what they were trying to accomplish, that could be quite true.

Letting someone who WANTS the FPs have them would be two less people who might complain to guest services about how stupid it is to eliminate standby as an option so the answer is no and no...unless of course I see that cancelling the two tomorrow morning will allow me to reserve 5.
