TSM and Buzz Lightyear

I was talking to my mother-in-law about our upcoming trip and we started talking about the Buzz Lightyear right at MK and she mentioned that her husband (my father-in-law) couldn't go on it because it spins. I know that TSM spins some as you go from game to game. How does Buzz work? Is there a lever that riders can use to turn to hit targets?
Trying to decide if he'll be able to do either of these. He can't do spinning rides like Dumbo. But I don't remember either of these spinning like that.
Anybody else have issues with spinning and riding these?

TSM kind of whips you around as it positions you to the next game. On Buzz, you decide how much you want your car to spin once you're in it. Theoretically, he could sit in a car, position it one way and stay there the whole time. It's been two years since I've been on it so I'm not sure if there are any points where the ride itself spins you.

Thanks, that's exactly how I remembered them. I think that TSM could be more of issue than Buzz. I will talk to my in-laws and let them decide if they want to ride them.

Buzz doesn't spin unless you make it spin. I think he would probably be ok on that one. There might be a point where it just points you forward again automatically but it wouldn't feel like a spin.

TSMM spins and quite fast.
