Trying to transfer CRT

A wonderful DISer is trying to give me her CRT. We did a conference call so I could give me CC#. Both CMs said it cant be done... how can we do this?? Can I just show up and say I am her?

no, because if you don't show up she will be charged!

since you are willing to give your cc# over the phone w/the other dis'er listening in, why not just give the other dis'er your cc# and have her do the switch, minus the 3-way call (which could be "suspect" to some cms that the original owner of the ressies is selling it) and have the original owner just say that she's transferring it to another person in her party due to change of plans...

Or you can call up separately and keep in email contact with the diser. As soon as you connect, have her call and tell you the exact moment she cancels and then you can snag up her reservation. It worked when i was trying to get a ressie from a diser a month ago and I only wanted a table for 4 and she was canceling a table for 8. You just have to make sure the CM checks as soon as the other person cancels.

I woudn't call seperately I would call on a 3 way so she cancles you jump right in. That's the only way I can see you not loseing it.

I did it that way and got my reservation. Just make sure you're in email or AIM contact with the other person.

Of course there is a slight chance you might not get it, but if CMs don't want to accept a 3 way call, it's a good option.

I do three ways alot when booking my parents ress . I know it's not the same thing but they never said anything .

I wish you luck, but don't show up and say you are her. They say to bring photo ID with you, and while we may have not been asked some of the time (I don't recall), I do remember for sure being asked on our last visit to see ID.
How nice she was willing to switch with you, good luck with it...

We got it! I gave her my card info and she called and switched it!
