We are doing a quick 3 day trip to parks in April. My folks are fla residents, so although we do get a nice discount for the rooms, we are doing the parks commando style and will not get to lazy around and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotels, so right now price, location and roominess are our main objectives. I looked at Staybridge Suites - was able to get the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite for a rate of $109.99/nite. Exactly how far is it from the parks? Tried to get Homewood Suites, but no availability for our days (4/25-4/27). There is also Buena Vista Suites, but they only have one bathroom - it's doable, but would rather have the 2 bathrooms. That I got for $89/nite. I am also willing to do 2 connecting rooms at a decent rate. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone stay here? Thanks!

are you parents riding down - so you have access to their car?

you can look at these sites

www.hotelmartusa.com

www.hotelkingdom.com - there have been complaints against this website on this board - look at them before your book.

if you don't have access to a car - don't stay off site.

with a FL resident - your parents get a big discount off WDW - and I like the new Pop Century (a value resort) it is cute - not fancy - just cute. they might be able to get that for $59 - so just get 2 rooms.

www.expedia.com
use to have some last minute specials

Have you tried mapquesting it at all? www.mapquest.com gives driving directions and the estimated time it takes to get from one place to another so perhaps you could map that to the Magic Kingdom's address or the address of one of the hotels on site to get an idea? Sorry if thats not much help but the price at least, for the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite sounds very very good and resonable!

I was going to try Mapquest, but what would be the address be for WDW?

Thanks everyone for the websites to check things out, but do you have any names of hotels for suggestions/reviews?

just put in WDW or DW or disneyworld.

the mapquest is not very good on WDW address - I put in the 1600 seven seas drive - the Polyn address and I think it try to send me to a different city???

zipcode 32830

what is address you were given? I am not finding it.

Lovethatmouse-Did you try Homewood suites on Parkway drive? I just got it for 67.00 night(on-line special) for that week. I know it's not the one on palm Pkwy. but it is still a Good Neighbor hotel with shuttle. It is still very close to WDW. :D

BJSMICO - no I didn't try there - I'll try now. How far is it? My friends stayed at the other homewood and loved it. Did you get the 2 bedroom? That price is great!

No I booked 2 connecting 1 bedroom suites. Good Luck. And since I'm a Hilton Honors I really racked up those points :bitelip:
