Trying to book April 2008 package

Is is just me or are we not able to book packages for 2008? I'm trying to price and book a vacation package for April next year and the Disney web site will not recognize the dates and the Dreams Unlimited form does not have a 2008 option? Does this sound right? If so, when are we able to start booking 2008 vacation packages?

i'm no expert, but i remember when i booked my vacation for may 2007 i couldn't do it until august 2006. it was frustrating because i wanted to book it earlier and had to wait! if things are like they were last year, you should be able to book within the next 2 months.

I already sent my april 08 requests to carolyn at dreamsunlimited. It's still too soon to book, but when the packages come available she'll book it..! Rumor has it, sometime before this summer is over the packages should be out!

2008 package prices have not been released. When they do you can book on the Dreams Unlimited site also.

We had a similar problem last Spring when trying to book a February 2007 package. What we ended up doing is making room-only reservations (in April 2006), to ensure that we'd get our resort of choice (CR). Then in August 2006 when the 2007 package rates were released, we converted our room-only ressie to the package. It was reassuring to have the rooms booked earlier, especially since we were going during the busy Presidents week.

Note that this was all through AAA...dunno if it'd be any different outside of AAA, but it might be worth looking into.
