I've pretty much narrowed it down to either September OR November.
I like September b/c of the beach weather and stuff ya know?
BUT then November is my and my mom's (may she RIP) bday month. Also it'd be all decorated for Christmas and I've never seen that (never seen it decorated for Halloween either).
I'm thinking IF I'd do November to go around Thanksgiving. For one it'd def be decorated by then and I feel like spending Turkey Day @ the happiest place on Earth wouldn't be too bad.

BUT right now Nov seems like forever away hahaha

I was considering June/July (honestly only considered the week of Disney's actual anniversary in July BUT then I figured it'd be uber busy then since it would be the anniversary and thought MUCH better of that idea lol)

Honestly? I've got the whole year free BUT I want them to be celebrating the anniversary and I highly doubt they'll start doing that until at least May and probably moreso June. Obviously by July they will be. And again I really want beach weather lol

BTW if I do September and I'd do Oogie Boogie (I know it's an added extra ticket/expense), I'd be going alone (whenever I go) is it lame to go alone? Also do you HAVE to dress up and does it HAVE to be a Disney related thing or could I be anything? Like a girl from the 70's or whatever (quick example)?

June is very nice. Memorial Day is the start of summer schedules (fireworks and Fantasmic every night). All anniversary entertainment should be running, in particular Paint the Night.

I would go the first week of June if you want good weather and all the entertainment offerings. November can be hit or miss weather wise.

I fully expect the 70th to start Memorial Day weekend

Oogie Boogie Bash is fine to attend alone. I've attended it alone before and have met other people in the lines that were also solo. You can dress up as whatever you want. Normally, I just wear normal clothes that are halloween themed. Some people are completely decked out and absolutely amazing.

You are looking at all my favorite times to go. I love July because everything is open and the hours are long and it's light outside longer. It can be very hot and that can take away some of the fun, tbh.

September is the bomb because of the Halloween decorations and merchandise/food. Oogie Boogie Bash is fun and believe it or not, you won't be able to do everything in one party I recommend skipping the parks during the day so you have enough energy to stay for the whole party.

November (once the holiday decorations are up) is awesome for the holiday decorations and food. Being a southern California person, I get cold after it gets dark. While not normal, it's been in the 40's a few times when I've been there at night. I finally get to wear all my spirit jerseys that I never get to wear during the other months.

Based on what you posted about weather, I'd recommend September, especially if you were able to buy a ticket to Oogie Boogie. Those sell out months in advance. Some of the September days are still very hot and the water rides are refreshing.

Thanks everyone. I'm leaning towards Sept as much as it sucks b/c it right now feels like forever away lol But I did just see one of my favorite comedians, Maria Bamford, is gonna do a show in Irvine in June sometime. So might combine THAT w/my Disney trip and see her since I never have before.
