Going to Disney in June...staying in RV....anyone know anything about this resort and campground....thanks in advance

its gets rave reviews from most who stay there, book a premium site - that will get you a concrete pad and close to the pool area, the other sites seemed to be in the backyard in my opinion, i booked a site based on the pictures i had seen in advertisments, when we arrived we were put in the back yard as we did not reserve a premium site, who knew.

We have been there many many times and like it. We prefer to be away from the pool area as it can get pretty loud. We usually ask to stay in the 500 loop I think, over by the lake.
Lately we have been staying at Secret Lake, the opposite end of 192. It's not as "pretty" as TP, but it's $20/night with an access road going to WDW that gets you on property in 5 minutes without getting near 1-4.

We also stayed there. It's ok. It's not the Fort, but it is nice, clean and inexpensive, if you don't spend alot of time at the campground this is certainly a way to save some cash. But there is nothing like the Fort.

I have never camped at Tropical Palms, but stayed in one of the cottages 2 years ago and absolutely loved the resort. We are staying in a cottage again during our next trip. The people there are very friendly, the grounds are beautiful and I just love the atmosphere!
