trophy business

My husband and I are wanting to start an embroidery and trophy business in our small town. However, I absolutely cannot find any manufacturers or wholesalers online. I want to buy the parts and then put them together in my shop. Does anyone know of how I can find such a place? I know they exist because all of the surrounding counties have someone that does awards. I don't want to ask them because I don't want them to think I'm a threat to their business. Help!
