It’s going to be like the existing VQ for guardians. It will likely fill in less than 5 seconds at 7am and have a slightly longer opening for the 1pm drop. MMRR at Disneyland just filled in less than 2 seconds with the 7am drop today for opening day.Probably a good idea for a new ride which will likely be in high demand. Also avoids the bad look of having people standing in a 3+ hr line that winds all the way back to the front of the park..............LOL. However, if the queue gets filled a few minutes after the park opens like what happened with that Star Wars ride, they will still have a PR issue to deal with.
It’s going to be like velocicoaster with the double sided lockers. You’ll enter the room on the queue side to stick your stuff in, after you ride you’ll be in the other side of the wall to retrieve your items.I hope the locker situation isn't as bad as Gringotts at Universal. None of the other rides that require lockers have a locker process as bad as Gringotts does. Disney guests are not used to using lockers as Universal guests are, so I'm wondering how it'll go with Tron.
Also wondering if Mine Train will be removed from ILL since Tron will have a ILL.
Oh, awesome! Velocicoaster's locker system works great. I'm glad Disney decided to design it like that. It’s going to be like velocicoaster with the double sided lockers. Thats good to know as the locker system at Velocicoaster works well. It’s going to be like velocicoaster with the double sided lockers. You’ll enter the room on the queue side to stick your stuff in, after you ride you’ll be in the other side of the wall to retrieve your items.
Yes, Guardians should drop it. That's how all of these new rides work. That should be interesting.I wonder if they drop VQ for Guardians. The locker system doesn’t bother me. Hopefully it is in queue Like VelociCoaster does it.

Yup! Only difference is that it looks like Disney will be using the regular size lockers instead of the halved lockers that universal uses.Thats good to know as the locker system at Velocicoaster works well.
until the demand goes down, I don't see them dropping the VQ.Yes, Guardians should drop it. That's how all of these new rides work. That should be interesting.
Thank goodness. I don’t bring my Loungefly to UO anymore, because it doesn’t fit well into those lockers. Not to mention the risk of someone’s sideways beverage spilling into your locker.Yup! Only difference is that it looks like Disney will be using the regular size lockers instead of the halved lockers that universal uses.
Assuming Disney IT can run two VQs at onceuntil the demand goes down, I don't see them dropping the VQ.
They dropped the VQ for Remy when demand lowered.
I think Disney would rather have you out and buying merch or food than waiting hours in a long line.
I don't think they'll have a PR issue at all. This is all old news now. The fact is there are more people who want to ride than the ride can handle and people get that now. Having to give up half of your day waiting on line to ride is a far worse look to me. And this is even more so that you don't have to be in the park to get them. And I think you're being generous with "a few minutes". I expect that queue to be filled in a few seconds those first few weeks at least. People are used to this - Guardians filled in seconds and while people reported on that it wasn't really a PR issue - to me it showed based on the demand they created a system that allowed the same number of people to ride without having to give up their day.Probably a good idea for a new ride which will likely be in high demand. Also avoids the bad look of having people standing in a 3+ hr line that winds all the way back to the front of the park..............LOL. What's the alternative? Wait 6 hours on line if you want to ride? I much prefer the VQ. Yes - I'd prefer that they made it a little closer to park opening time than 7am but at least this way - for most of the year - if you're dead set on the VQ and don't get it at 7am and want to change your plans on which park to go to - you can still do it. They've basically picked the best option for handling demand on this - no option is great for everyone. And with Guardians - we've seen already that the 1pm queue is relatively easy to get into and expect we'll see similar with Tron.Yay charging people probably 30 dollars per person for ILL, while making that resi to get in the park.
Making them wake up at 7:00am while on a vacation without caring about them
Gotta love Disney!
Agreed. They App definititely contemplates having more than 1 VQ. What is more likely IMO is that 7DMT goes to Genie+ to keep it at 1 ILL per park. I think GotG will be off VQ by end of year but based on demand don't think they're quite there yet.until the demand goes down, I don't see them dropping the VQ.

Wondering the same. That would be nice, especially with Splash closed. Also wondering if Mine Train will be removed from ILL since Tron will have a ILL.
There is still a huge demand for GotG VQ. I for one am hoping they don't drop it.Yes, Guardians should drop it. That's how all of these new rides work. That should be interesting.
I'm sure they can it they try. Just not sure if they'll try or not. I'd much rather be in a VQ than a line!Assuming Disney IT can run two VQs at once![]()
