TripAdvisor Says Disney Hotels Closed Through 7/31?

Disney won't open in six and half weeks. Come-on y'all and "look into your heart". What does your common sense say? My positive side says October. My practical side says this crap is going to be taking lives well into next year and Disney isn't going to be a party to death. I hope I am wrong because we must open the world back up or most businesses will just not re-open and no bailout is going to save everyone. I hate this bug.

I just made reservations yesterday through a TA and one through Disney (which I converted to a TA made rest) for June & July. I assume Disney plans on being open.
Travelocity could be a typo.

If they weren't planning on opening till then then it would be baffling for them to start rebooking for those affected in June. Trip Advisor is probably trying to get around not having to issue mass refunds and are just playing it safe. I think Disney could have also limited or retracted rooms available to third party sites, we don't know, but as previously said I doubt that Disney would allow Trip Advisor to be the ones to break the news of a massively extended closure.

There's a travel agency site that won't book cruises until mid-July. There's a 100-day hold on cruises that could be lifted before that. I think travel agencies are just tired of issuing refunds. It has to be a nightmare trying to process all the refunds.

Or extended. I’m still waiting on refund from RCCL for cancelled cruise the end of March. Had the old school trip insurance that does cover this. Filed intent to use with the company but will rescind it if I am reimbursed and flip it to another trip.

Non-refundable one booked early August that just is outside of the 100 day cruise hold. Probably will just take the loss on the deposit vs paying it off & messing with a credit to use before end of 2021.

My SWA credits are supposed to be extended well into 2021. Called & they still show same date. Would like to be able to rebook for future travel, again...told to be patient.

While I really want to resume my travels, Life trumps all in my book.

I expect Disney will try to push thing along but will follow protocols in place from Asian parks. Think technology/crowd apps might be helpful if they can get them functioning/embraced in the US
