My wife and I are going to DisneyWorld in late November 29th to December 7th. We were planning on staying onsite for the first three nights and then staying offsite for the rest of the vacation. My parents are coming down but they won't be there for the first night we plan on staying onsite and then their flight gets in real late the next night. Is there anyway that we can book a room and just have them as an extra guest on the 2 nights they would be in the room? My wife and I would like to get the dining plan but it would make no sense for my parents to get it because they would really only be using it for one day. Thanks for the help

You can add them to your reservation once you are at the resort. Depending on the timing (since they are coming the very next day) you may not be able to get them a reservation on the ME from the airport. But you might be able to. It will cost the extra adult fee for each of them per night. Price of that depends on where you are staying.

Thanks for the quick answer Vicki. We are going to stay at Port Orleans-French Quarter so it should be $15 or so per person per night. When we add them on the reservation would that mean they would then have to get the dining plan as well?

No. If you added them prior to your arrival, they would have to be on the same package as you. If you add them when you check-in, they do not have to be on the same package.:thumbsup2

When you add them after your arrival they will get their own KTTW, but they will have to purchase their own tickets (these can be added onto their KTTW), and they will have to pay for all of their own meals OOP. They won't be able to get the dining plan at all.

I suggest that you ask that they be signed up for DME as soon as you add their names to the room, so they will have transportation from the airport. You can arrange their return DME at the same time.
