Still waiting on our tickets.....

On other news (without getting political on agreeing with it or not)... anyone starting to worry about govt shutdown and the impact on our airports... from our local news, the delays have already started and it will only get worse if the government shutdown keeps going... and goes on till our race weekend. I know there is nothing we can do about, it is like worrying about weather but I cannot help it.

Yes, I'm super worried about it. I even thought of just renting a car and driving from northern Virginia if it comes down to it I hate that 14 hour drive that could just be an hour and 40 minute flight.

Anyone know what the food lines are like at the party? Do they typically keep all of the stands open for the party or do things shut down around 10p?

I wasn’t there last year but the year before the festival booths were open! Lines weren’t too bad. Shorter than during a normal day.

Oh, ok. I just looked it up, and the answers seem to point to no. Not unless you already have a day ticket that gets you into EP or an active AP for that day. It also sounds like most of the "good stuff" will already be long since taken anyway, by the time you got in at 5:00.

The best strategy seems to be to ride the not-so-good stuff during the 5:00-10:00 period, and then work your way to the big rides once the day guests are forced out.

We had the same ride strategy at the party last year, but hit a snag when they closed the line to Guardians early without notice. We were going to ride it last on our way out of the park. We walked over there a little bit after midnight and CM's were lined up before you get to the ride stating they had closed the line already. Not sure if they opened it back up later on, but we decided to leave. Just something to keep in mind!

I received my (included with HM) party ticket in the mail a few days ago. My traveling companion bought a party ticket a few months ago (if we'd known there would've been extras we would've bought here). The additional party ticket doesn't seem to have been delivered digitally or by mail yet.

Has anyone bought an additional party ticket from Disney and received it yet? How did you receive it?

It should be in an email, it's weirdly formatted and attached to the receipt email. Search your inbox for the subject line "runDisney Ticket Order" from guest.mail@wdw dot Disneyonline dot com and scroll all the way down to the pdf attachment.

It took me forever to find and I only started looking after my race ticket came in the mail.

Can anyone one confirm that the physical after race party ticket is not already pre-registered in the recipients name? I won't be using mine so thinking or selling it (as others have here) but don't want to be that person that sells someone a ticket that they can't use as there is an ID check when they go to use it. They really need to provide more online stock for these, have a feeling this one is going to be trouble. Weirdly not having ANYTHING to do with the Wine and Dine theme, unless you count Stitch taking a bite out of the Brooks logo (!!!). Not complaining! Really nice colorway.

The wording also suggests that the stitch brooks will only be available day 1 of the expo so how much of a PatA do we think getting the 830 VQ will be to someone who has plans later in the day and just wants the arena for pre ordered pins and a magnet?

This was my thought too, strange to have nothing to do with the weekend, not even a logo.

Maybe they’re shifting from weekend-specific to character drops? Probably easier to plan ahead, and although the Springtime Surprise colorway was nice I don’t think anyone has strong ties towards it.
