Hi everyone,

Will be taking a trip with hubby to Disney this weekend. Staying at Yacht Club. What are your must do suggestions in a short time period. Yes, I know vague question, but just what are your absolute must dos in the area? I have been several times, but wanted to know if anything special was going on right now.

Already interested in going to Epcot/world showcase, going to Magic Kingdom for a day (because I love it!), Illuminations show, maybe go to a couple of hotel lobbies for drinks if I hear suggestions on coolest ones, fireworks show at Hollywood Studios too, would also love to go out to eat for a nice dinner one night but know reservations will be difficult at the last minute.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Thank you so much!

Cape May Cafe for dinner is always a must do for us. The food is good and there is a good variety.

A nice resort lounge for a few drinks and appetizers is the Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge. The lodge is a beautiful building. It is easy to get to from the MK. Just take the boat or bus.

There is night time entertainment on the Boardwalk. And sitting outside having a beer at Big River Grille on the boardwalk is a nice way to unwind after a busy day.

One of the best perks of being at the YC/BC is how close you are to Epcot. :) My husband and I have made several trips without our kids and we always end up at Epcot every night. :) Straight to France for a Grey Goose slushie, slowly walking around the world showcase taking in the atmosphere.... we love to go sit at the bar in Tutto Gusto for a glass of wine or moscato ... stop in the Karamel Kuche in Germany for a dessert... then head to La Cava in Mexico for a delicious margarita!!!!! Boy we sound like alcoholics! :lmao: After that we might hit some rides or watch Illuminations, or go shopping at Mousegears. Then head back to the Boardwalk... walk around there , maybe go inside ESPN Club for a bit... or down to the Swan to watch the drunk people do Karaoke at Kimonos. :thumbsup2 Then top the night off with some ice cream from Beaches and Cream... if we still have room for food! :D
