Trip report

Hi all. On Sunday night I posted a rather lengthy trip report of our vacation last week. We visited Niagara on the Lake, Niagara Falls and Stowe Vermont. I added meal reviews etc. Unfortunately when I went to post it, I got a message that the server was not found and then 20 minutes of typing disappeared. Anyone with questions about accommodations, meals etc. please feel free to ask away.

I've had that happen to me too, John. Now, I type everything in Word and copy it over. That way I can also print out a copy for myself.

Yikes, how frustrating for you!

Did you stay in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake, John? Do any gambling?

Did you take the Lake Champlain ferry, by any chance?

We did that once, I thought I was going to be sick....

Snowwark, we stayed at a Bed & Breakfast in Niagara on the Lake. First time staying in one and we had a great time. (Clover Field House). We were celebrating our 15th anniversary so DS stayed with my folks in Montreal. We tried a winery tour, on the second day and then went to Niagara Falls for the afternoon. We stopped by the casino for some gambling ( or rather donating as it turned out).
On the way back from Stowe later in the week we did take the ferry from Burlington to Plattsburg. DS ( whom we had picked up on the way from Niagara to Stowe) thought it was pretty cool. Even DW who really doesn't like boats managed not to get seasick.

All in all a great week. Great food ( especially at Hillebrand Estates Winery) and an enjoyable time.
