We just returned from a wonderful trip at the Poly! We stayed for 7 nights, & boy was it great. It was my 18 mth old DD's first trip. Well I thought I would give everyone a breakdown of my thoughts. We stayed in a garden view room in Raratonga (I think I spelled it right). I really liked this longhouse. It was right by the great ceremonial house, & the bus stop. So we could refill our mugs easily. We were first assigned to a room in Tokelau (for some reason I always get this longhouse). Well my room was not what I expected, so I asked to be moved. There was just a really bad stale smell. Once we switched to Raratonga, the room was really nice. The volcano slide was down for a few days, so the kids did not like that to much, but they love to play on the beach. The weather was wonderful! I packed for both warm & cold weather, & I used both sets of clothes. The first 3 days was really warm, we wore shorts & t-shirts. The next 5 days we wore pants & shorts sleeves during the day. It only rained for about 30 minutes on Tuesday. We usually go in September & January, because of crowd's. I think January is definitely picking up in crowd levels. It was not so bad, but I noticed alot of Brazilian tour groups. Most of our wait times were 20 minutes, except for Soarin, the wait was usually 20 - 60 min's. We only got to ride it once :sad2: Also I really missed test track not being open, & my DH was sad about Buzz (he loves to show up the family with all his points). We did have breakfast at CRT, & on our way in we got a ride on one of those vintage cars. The kids thought that was so neat. We used ME on our way in, but we called a taxi to get back to the airport. I just did not want to leave 4 hours before my flight. I am going to post my dining on the dining board. I did not get to go to the DVC open house, but I talked my DH into joining. So this was a great trip :goodvibes

It sounds like you had a great trip. 18-months is such a nice time to see Disney if your kids travel well.

Thanks for sharing.

Did you notice anything around Pirates OTC at MK that would indicate a rehab in 2006? There seems to be a rumor of such popping up and we'd hate to have that closed when we're there this summer :confused3
thanks :woohoo:

I did not notice anything indicating a rehab. Splash Mountain was closed for a few days while we were there. The only change I really noticed was that when the boat drops & you are passing it on the left hand side, sometimes your boat would pass by & you would not get wet. Well it holds every boat now, & we got really soaked.
