And the trip wouldnt have been complete without a ride on the carrousel.
We started to head back to our Villa and on our way found a cookie cart offering fresh cookies and lemonade!
It seemed so surreal, just happening upon someone handing you free snacks and drinks. We dropped off their new stuff at the villa and took the very short walk down the street to the Worlds Largest Candyland Game!
The World's Largest Candyland Game is held at their beautiful new playground. Sadly, we were so busy all week that we never had a chance to go to the playground except today. Gabreilla decided she wanted to participate in the Candyland game, and Aleah did not. Kevin took Gabriella up to start the game.
It would be boring just to walk to the next space.
Aleah started playing the many carnival games that were set up on the street. You know the type...bean bag throwing, duck pond and the like.
After playing the game the kids got a ticket which could later be redeemed for crap. This is Aleah's favorite thing in the world...collecting crap. She loves every sort of carnival and spends the entire time with baited breath waiting til she can pick out something plastic worth exactly 3 cents. This crap then gets put into a bag which she carries all around the house, spreading this crap far and wide under my couches and to soon be stuck in my vaccum cleaner.
After the Candyland game Gabreilla joined in the games, but not before meeting who I am told is Princess Lolly.
Anything that resembles a Princess is exciting to Gabriella.
Aleah and Kevin even played a game of Giant Checkers.
Aleah was better at this than Kevin originally thought so this game went on for awhile. I was so thrilled when dad finally decided to throw the game so we could get the girls home and to bed.
The girls redeemed their tickets for a bunch of stuff which eventually found it's eay into their new lunchboxes. Did I mention while the game playing was happening the girls enjoyed snowcones, cotton candy, and Kool-aid? They also had a booth for making your own gingerbread houses and a tent with Candy but we didn't make it to either. I wanted to stop at the candy tent on the way home but for some reason Kevin felt like after ice cream, cookies, cotton candy, snow cones, and Kool-aid, the girls didn't need any candy??? We got the girls in bed with their new animals, pillows, and lunchboxes, to get a good night's sleep before our first day at Disney.
