I'm excited for you. I'm originally from So CA and spent a lot of time at Dland. I'm going to subscribe and watch you enjoy! :) When are you going and where are you staying. What else do you plan to do in So CA?

Hi I'm from the east coast been to Disney world 51 times you might say I'm addicted to the place. I went to Disney Land two years ago, wanted to see where it all began. I enjoyed my stay at the land but was happy to get back to the east coast. I hope you have a great trip. If you haven't been to the world you have to go there is so much to see.

Thanks! Also, sorry for the wait, my photos are taking FOREVER to download.

Entry 1: Arrival

I don't live too close to California/Disneyland. Or Disney World. But that doesn't stop us from taking 5 trips to Disney World and our first trip to Disneyland/California. Well, second trip to Cali for my parents. For the first time, I got to fly over the desert. Below you can see that all that's visible for miles... is hills and hills of dirt. Every once and a while there's a little town. I was sooooo not used to this. Where I live, there's grass. (most of the pictures on here will be from my iPod, so some may not turn out as well.) Almost the whole flight, I looked out the window. At least the trip there. (On the way back, I slept).

Sadly this wasn't a one trip flight. First we took the trip to Phoenix. Theeen to Orange County(and Disneyland!! :hyper: ) And sadly enough, I have had bad side effects with my ears not popping. Not an experience I want to go through again:headache:. Anyway, the trip took like 3 hours. Which is another experience I don't want to repeat. But Disneyland and California were worth it. Watch out California! HERE I COME!!!!

Once we got to Cali we got to ride in a taxi!!!!! I felt like such a city slicker, calling for a TAXI! We had to call a few down there, and since our first day was a Saturday... let's just say it was a crowded road:crowded:. Our driver was Japanese or Chinese or something like that, I never got to see his face. Just got to hear his accent. I got a picture of him in the drivers seat, but I don't think I should show it, privacy and all. But I did get a few pics on the road;) .

I covered up his license plate with a heart....

We know we're getting close now! This road sign looked picture worthy. I don't know for sure, but I think our hotel was down this street. We stayed at the Parkvue Inn. Most of the maintenance staff there doesn't speak English, but they had the most delicious cookies in the lobbie. I must have eaten... let's see...1,2,5,8... I don't know, but every day we'd come back from the park and see if they had any cookies left. (chuckle chuckle)
Our Hotel

Okeeey, I've been getting off topic. So the moment we got there we headed straight for DD. (One of the most expensive shopping areas ever) Rainforest Café was first on the list.

There was a rainbow over the bathrooms! don't judge me...

I ordered a burger the size of a mountain. The Rainforest Burger is what I think they called it.

I ate it all. I felt really fat that night. At least we got to walk it off in the next few days.

Subscribing! I'v had that burger at my local mall Rainforest Cafe, it is huge and delicious!! Super fun report.

Subbing. 3 hours? Psshhh. Try 12 from paris to dallas tx and then to indianapolis.

It cut me off early. So yeah 12 hours of flight and all you really see are clouds. I love flying and would love to fly over some mountains. The best time to fly is late afternoon and overnight. You can get amazing sunset pictures and then if you can get the glare out of the way you can see the moon and the reflection on the clouds. One of the most eerily beautiful things you could see.

Thanks everyone! I'll put more soon. Pictures still taking forever to download. :)

Entry 2

Okay, here we go again. We are still in DD. After we ate, we looked around in the shop awhile. Naturally, my DDad pointed out everything weird. He even played with the little figurines of the animals(making fun of what my DSis and I used to do with little dolls). After we were done there, we decided to find other shops. Our goal was Build-a-Bear-Workshop. I know that may sound like it's for little kids, but a couple of years ago, we used to play with our Build-a-Bears like, every. Single. Day. For hours. My DSis has like 20, while I have 15, I think. Yeah, it was a little obsessive. AAAAAnyway. Build-A-Bear was our destination. It was crowded :crowded: . There were some high schoolers in prom dresses too. So we got the animals, after waiting in line for a loooooooong time.

I'm not aloud to post my face, so I blocked it. And my hair. Yea this photo's special :rolleyes2

Yeah, I got a cute Alice dress to put on Alex, my new Build-A-Bear!

After that we window shopped. And after that, we left to go back to Parkvue. From our room we could watch the fireworks. Which on THIS day was cool. Until you have to listen to them every night.

Cute Build-A-Bear! I have like 6 or 7. I have no idea where most of the are. (Probably in my closet with LOADS of stuffed animals! (als the home of my Pal Mickey))

So excited! Rainbow dash and Pinkie Pie build a bears! Oh shoot! I don't know where my pal Mickey is!

Entry 3

That first night was the worst. Couldn't sleep at all. I actually thought about sleeping on the floor. Every time I'd turn, the mattress would squeak. We also had a little bit of a problem with charging things too. For some reason we only brought one charger. One that would fit my DDad's iPhone, and my iPod. Since my iPod was my camera for the trip, I kind of really needed it. But DDad also had to have his phone. So the plan was that if someone got up in the middle of the night, they would switch them so they would both be charged. Really my iPod only takes like 10-20 minutes to charge and takes a whole day of picture taking to die. It wasn't till just before the trip I switched from a 2nd gen. to a 5th gen. :offtopic: . Sorry about that. Any way, we got to bed that night at 9 or 10. I can't remember exactly. Then we had to get up around 6 to be the first to breakfast. (breakfast was at 7) Yes, sadly it takes as long as an hour for all of us to be up and ready. And my DDad took pictures of me too. I'm not going to show those photos. I don't look very beautiful in them.

So then we went down to breakfast. They had sausages, waffles, eggs, and fruit. Oh and bagels. Which I definitely DID NOT save in my mini backpack for later. So off we were to Disneyland!

From rope drop, we headed straight to Peter Pan's Flight. We wanted to be some of the first in line, but we accidentally took the long way. And went past the tea cups, where Alice and the Mad Hatter were without a line! Naturally we HAD to stop. Since my DSis lately found a new love of the movie. They asked us what we wanted from them, so I answered, "Your picture." So the Mad Hatter went straight up to my DMom's camera and had a picture of himself. Alice asked him what he was doing, so he answered, "She told me she wanted my picture." Alice tried to explain I was talking to both of them, but the Mad Hatter is impossible. Then they asked us our names. My DSis's name is Allison. So the Mad Hatter pointed out that she and Alice had the same name. Alice asked why and he answered Allison(Alice-in) Wonderland. They had a little argument about Alice's name. Then we took pictures and left.
That was a mouthful. I won't tell so much about meeting the other characters.

DEFACE!!

After we got away from those two, we didn't waste anymore time getting to Peter Pan's Flight. When we got there, there was already something like a 10 minute wait. We waited anyway, knowing there'd be an even longer line if we waited till later.

After riding the AWESOME Peter Pan ride, we headed over to Small World. Where we saw my absolute favorite princess's meeting spot! Without a line! And coming in 10 minutes!! AAAHHHH!!!!
