Day FOUR
Back to MK again!
We wanted to get it all over and done with there before transferring over to BCV's. We knew from past trips that getting to MK from the Epcot resorts was not easy, so we finished up everything we needed to do. We also made another PS for lunch at the Plaza restaurant.
I just love it!!!
I had the tuna sandwich, dh had the steak sandwich again, and the boys had grilled cheese again. LOL Just as we were finishing lunch the Mayor's niece came waltzing into the restaurant and declared US the 100th customers of the day!!!!
We were so excited!!! They had us stand and say our names out loud, then we took a picture (which was a free 5x7), gave us a certificate, and free dessert!!!!!!!!!!
It was a huge double fudge brownie sundae and it was heavenly.
That was truely a magical moment for us, and really added something special to the trip. After that we headed back to the room for naps, I checked the DIS boards, and then we decided to head to DTD for dinner and evening entertainment. Well, that plan got changed because it came a horrible thunderstorm and poured the rain for the rest of the night. So we headed to the GCH and had dinner at Kona Cafe. I wasn't a bit disappointed, the food was outstanding!
We started with the sticky wings, I had the teriyaki steak for dinner, and dh had the shrimp and scallops. We ended with the kiddie kone, which was plenty for the four of us.
It was a great meal.
There wasn't much to do after that. The rain kept us inside, so we popped in a dvd, and hung out in the room.
