Due to length and time, I will divide the posts into 6 posts. 4 will corospond with the appropreate days and the other two will deal with post and pre Disney matters. Due to the size and demands of the group, we only got to do a few rides and two parks, MGM and Epcot. In this part, I will discuss the problems we faced and what we did to help out your family or group your bringing.
Part 1- Pre Disney
One of the first big things you have to do is find out the 5 W's; Who, What, When, Where, Why. What is the type of vacation you want, relaxing, serious, fun, etc. Why is the reason why you are going. To ride rides. To relax. To do a robotics competition perhaps. The rest are easy (to answer, not to arrange). Then we have to arrange. I will skip all the imbetween parts because I didn't do this for my team. Sorry. The next thing you will want to do is set up a loose schedule for your party/family. We will leave MK at 9pm. We will eat luch at Epcot. They can be as specific as "eat at Prime Time Cafe at MGM at 5pm" or as open ended as "go to park". Just fill in the open ended one latter.
You need to remember the three laws of Theme Park Tourning-
-Be Flexible- Don't be to riged and anal to change your plans, go witht the flow.
-Be Sympathetic- If someone dosn't want to do it or they don't feel good, be nice.
-Be Adventurious- Do something different. Do a rollercoaster. Eat Morracan. Dance to "Devil Came to Georga".
The last thing is what to pack. The first thing to watch the weater. See the adverage temperature and then the one now. See the difference, prepair for rain. Unless you will use your camer a lot, don't pack extra batteries. Film is a good extra to pack. Homework never gets done in or going to WDW.
Dream, dream, dream; dream, dream, dream.
Next time:
Day One- leaving, The Arrival, Disney-MGM Studios.
