Hubby has just uploaded trip report #36, and I have a favor to ask of my fellow DISers. I am redesigning my website to make it a little nicer-looking and make the navigation easier. Please access the trip report through the rough draft of the new index at:

Try out the pull down menus, and then you can access the trip report via the Words from the Webmaster. If the new site doesn't work for you, the trip report link is in the Words from the Webmaster section of my current site, too.

Barb....great trip report as usual....was the new Cruise Staff Member that did not know you at 70's night...Ian??? We just got off the Magic and was told by Cruise Staff that Ian had returned to DCL, but on the Wonder!!!! The Cruise Staff on the Magic was very disappointed that he was not able to come back to the Magic. He has quite a rep for being a wild and crazy guy on the Magic!!!

Also...we were assigned cabin 5150 (which I believe is just on the other side of the ship from your favorite stateroom 5650. We loved the location and the deeper veranda!!!

It was a great cruise #10!!!

Barb -- What kind of search specs did you use when looking for a one-way rental car via Priceline?

I am SO glad I'm not the only one who thought that Hercules was even funnier this time 'round! Mom and I saw it last December and though it was only the third time I've seen it it was the FUNNIEST it has ever been. I LOVE that 5th muse/moose!!!

Great report!!! I really enjoyed reading and reliving my last Wonder cruise!

I had contact with her before I went on my cruise in January!!!

She left me a hidden treasure to find when I went on my cruise a week after she went on hers!!!!

You don't actually do a search for a one-way rental like you normally do on Priceline or Hotwire. They have a link to the car rental sites, and when you click it, it takes you directly to the car rental comapny's site but inserts a discount code. You can get prices without being obligated to purchase. Budget was by far the cheapest, and the experience was much smoother than I thought it would be.
mmouse, I can't remember the cruise staffer's name. It might have been Ian...he was having a great time moving and grooving on the dance floor! And I'm glad you liked 5150. That's the "mirror image" room to my favorite. That aft area is great.

I can't get to your trip report for some reason. I click on the link and I get to your new website. Awesome by the way! But when I click on the link for the report I get the old reports not a new one. What am I doing wrong?

I just went in to check and the same thing happened until I clicked "Refresh" on my browser button. If you've visited before, the old version iof the trip report menu s probably cached on your PC. Here's the direct link to the new one:

Just wanted to look at the Secret verandah rooms as we have 7120 booked for next month....
You have the link titled as.....
Category 7 for the price of Category 6.
You may want to ammend that one.

Yep, someone else caught that one too. And some of the links aren't working yet, but I'm just about done with the revision so I'm going to have Tony load it up tonight. Then I get up upgrade all the rest of the pages! They won't all have the drop-down menus, though, just a cleaner look and better HTML behind the scenes.

No rumors other than the delay of the announcement from Feb. to May. But personally I am keeping my fingers crossed for California and hoping for a 7-day itinerary. It's going to be a loooong wait!

Question: Is there usually a matinee performance of Dreams on the 3-day? I dont recall there being one on our last 3-day, 1/15, or the previous one we took last year....

There used to be a matinee on almost every trip, but then they stopped. I was surprised to see it on this trip, but I suspect they might have scheduled it because they were expecting bad weather for Castaway Cay. I have seen them add the matinee when the weather gets bad.
