Trip PLANNING strategy with SWGE pending...

I am flip flopping between early November and early December. One of the factors pushing me towards early November is hoping SWGE is not open then. My first trip to WDW, I can visit it out here in CA in a couple years.

Oooo - yes - I can see not wanting your first trip to WDW to be such a crush of people. Early November may be warmer too????

Oooh, that's hard. Waiting until they announce a firm opening date might make it hard to get good rooms/flights. We will be there Dec 14-20. I have no wiggle. It's my son's birthday. We were going whether SWGE was opened or not though, it's a tradition, they spend their 10th birthday at Disneyworld. Although my DH is a SW fan and the kids enjoy it. I am at least hoping it's been open a few weeks to a month and we're able to at least enter the park with a modicum of sanity. DHS is probably our #2 park.

I would love to start a tradition of taking my daughter to Disneyland on her birthday, unfortunately she was born January 1st :)
