There are some fun things we want to do around Orlando... currently I have 2 day base ticket for us, and was planning on doing MK both days. (me, my husband, and 6 year old daughter).

Part of me wants to really do DHS (October 2017).. Should I add an extra day for DHS, making it MK, MK, DHS... or keep my 2 day and do one day MK and one day DHS?

Thank you!

Is your 6 year old daughter in to Star Wars at all? This was my 6 year old sons favorite park (particularly Jedi training). This was such a cool thing for him to experience he absolutely loved it!!!

I do think there is plenty at MK to keep you busy for two days!

I might be in the minority, but I like HS way more than EPCOT. For a 6 year old princess, TSM (Toy Story Mania), Meeting Olaf, Beauty and Beast show, Frozen sing-a-long, Pixar music, Disney Junior Live, Muppets 3-D, Little Mermaid. If she is into Star Wars? Star Tours, Launch Bay, Jedi Training (Get there for rope drop) and the Imperial March. Even in 2 days you wont do it all at Magic Kingdom, but if you have the money and want a third park, I'm a HS supporter!!

No, none of us really like Star Wars!

Yes! Epcot wasn't even on my radar. I enjoyed it last year, however I don't think my 6 year old would.. aside from the character meets.

Thank you! I'm thinking HS is a good choice (:

I agree we love it too!

I don't love HS right now. I feel like its in a transition, and I'm hoping it will get better with time. It used to be my favorite park.

Have you considered AK?

I am going to toss a monkey wrench into your planning. With a 6 year old I would add at least one more day, and include DHS and DAK. 2 MK days is perfect IMO, but I would have a hard time choosing between DHS and DAK right now. The shows, FEA in particular as well as BATB in DHS are worth it with a little girl IMO, but DSK is a pretty spectacular place to bring a child as well. It is an engaging park for children as well as for adults.

AK has Festival of the Lion King, Rivers of Light, Finding Nemo, Rafiki's Planet Watch, the new Navi river journey, the safari, lots of big animals, and hands on things for the little ones to explore. Right now, I think I would chose AK over DHS which is going through a transition.

I'd go AK. My DD loved animals so much when she was that age (still does). Or, if you want off property, you might try Legoland if you have transportation. Bet a 6-year-old would love it!

Do AK. It is a great park and, in my opinion, way better than DHS at this point in time. The last time I was at DHS ( about a year and a half ago)...it did not WOW me. Things had already been starting to close for the new attractions/lands coming in the future. Even with my love of Star Wars, it isn't enough to do DHS on my 5 day trip in October.

With AK you have the animals, the shows, and of course Pandora. It is just an all around better use of a ticket for a two day trip right now. Others may not agree and that is fine.

If not AK, just do MK both days. You won't be disappointed!!

I am sure whatever you decide, your trip will be magical.
