Trip Number 9 ~ It's the Most Wonderful Time of Year ~ Christmastime at the GF & Poly

That pic of you and your DH on IASW is really cute Shelly! And it's funny, because I saw the look on DS 11's face on the carousel, and thought that looks like a "if you take one more picture of me.... " face.

Then I read what it was really all about. LOL. Boys will be boys.

We also like to do RD at MK, but we usually head towards Frontierland first. I always want to do FL first, but then I hear Splash Mtn and Big Thunder calling my name And you know how much I love Splash!

I don't know. It seems like it would be similar.



Yeah, they all seem to be a lot alike. We've never done any of them yet. We just might have to try this one out!

We did the Kim Possible mission on our 2nd trip, I think just because we wanted to spend more time at Epcot - and this was a fun way to see more of the WS. I started to do the Agent P mission with my sister last trip, and we got bored before we even finished the first set of clues. So I guess it's hit or miss.

This one looks fun though!

They make me so mad when they fight over something so dumb when we are at WDW!!! I'm always like - are you guys serious???

If we arrive at RD we always head to Fantasyland first. Just a habit I guess! We want to ride those rides, but don't think they are worth waiting in line for and usually within an hour or so of opening there is a long line. For Peter Pan at least! If we arrive midday we don't usually have too much of a plan, other than to not go to Fantasyland!

I've heard mixed reviews on the 'missions' too. Some people love them and others lose interest before it's over. We were actually going to do the one in Epcot in December, but when we walked by it was like 10:50am and DS14 went up and asked about it and the CM said they weren't open yet.

I think the boys will enjoy the POTC one!

After we were done on the carousel it was time for our Little Mermaid FP's!

We just had regular FP's. But this is where you scan your FP+ cards, and it lights up green if it is your time. And red if it's not your time or if there's a problem.

Just as awesome as the last time!!


Next we were on our way to Tomorrowland.

First up was Buzzlightyear!

Then it was onto the TTA!

Guess I didn't take any ride pics this time.

Next we headed back towards the castle.

Stopped for a family photo!

It was getting to be late morning, so I decided we would have a special treat for brunch!

Cute pics of everyone! Love the one of DS11 and you on Buzz!!! So cute! I'm glad you posted that pic of Zurg. I was just reading that if you hit that one Z marker on the bottom of his podium, that is one of the big point getters. Did that make sense?

Anyway-- the LM ride is fun. Always gag worthy to see Ursula again in all her Nasty glory.

I was wondering if you knew where brunch was!!! I could have sworn I told you.... but maybe not. IDK. But I'm not going to tell you. You'll have to guess with everyone else. If anyone else is here! I'll give you a hint though..... it was very sweet and probably nothing you would ever eat with your healthy eating habits! And it was yummy!!!!

Yes, I know what you mean about that Z!! Too bad I have never hit it!

It has to be somewhere in that direction. Liberty Square, or maybe FL?

All I can think of is Liberty Tree...

We had never been there before, so it was a nice treat! DH and I had waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. The kids got a waffle and a funnel cake to share.

Thanks! I was so happy we finally got a decent family pic in front of the castle. Even though it was actually to the side of the castle. Our pics on Main Street never turn out. We are always squinting because of the sun!
