We have an Aug UY.

If our vacation is July 28 - Aug 3 2012, could I use 4 years of points?

We have 22 banked from 2010 into 2011. Wondering if we could use banked, current 2011 and borrowed 2012 during July portion of vacation then on Aug 1 use current 2012 UY and borrowed 2013??

Would DVC let me make the entire reservation at 7 months out?

yes.

you could make the reservation at 11 months out at your home resort (in aug 2011) or 7 months at another DVC resort, if there is availability.

the only possible issue is that if you have to cancel the july dates, you might be past your banking window and have to scramble to adjust.

but other than that, it's a workable plan...
