I have to tell you, I was very nervous after my first phone call to member services this morning! We were trying to extend our trip in July by 3 more nights using points in our holding account. I was told that I was calling one day too early, and there was only 1 studio left at BWV and 1 studio left at BCV for 2 of the 3 nights. I thought for sure there would be no way those 2 rooms would still be available by tomorrow morning.
We decided to call back and confirm when we could actually make the reservation for the additional days. We are staying at AKL for 2 nights with a cash reservation before checking into the BWV and were hoping our 60 days could start from that point.
Well, to our surprise, the person I spoke with at member services was able to "release" our points in our holding account which allowed us to book our reservation! I didn't get the reservations at BCV or BWV, but was able to get the 3 nights at OKW and waitlist for the BWV! I am just thankful we were able to extend our trip! I was not looking forward to the talk with the kids that said "we have to go home early because Mom can't get a room!" Now I get to say "Kids, we are staying 3 more nights! WOOHOO!"
