12/1-Checked into BWV for 1st time - 2 br. The room was nice and clean. Went to MK. It seemed pretty crowded for a Mon. Rode fav. rides, Space Mt, BRMR, Splash Mt., Pirates. Ate of Cindy's for dinner. The food was good but wish there was more to choose from.
12/2-Went to Epcot. Rode Mission to Space, Test Track and everything but The Dinosaur ride was broke down (maybe it ate Ellen). Ate lunch at Electric Umbrella. Had a diffferent menu to select from - liked it better. Went to all the countries. Ate dinner at LeCellar. The food was very good but service was too slow. Watched the tree lighting. My daughter was silly and danced through the area when the nutcraker was playing. She's a card and a few people laughed at her when she tried to pick up her little brother and made a face because he's too heavy.
12/3-Went to MGM. Rode all the rides. Saw some of the stage props for Haunted Mansion. The fireplace was HUGH. Ate lunch at Sci-Fi. YUM. Went back to BWV to pool. Ate at ESPN for dinner. Good food and quick service.
12/4-Checkout of BWV and into OKW. Don't think I would stay at BWV again due to drainage problems and too long of a walk to elevators. Love 2 br at OKW. Went to AK. Did all the rides. 81 degrees today so teens rode Rapids in Asia. Ate at Rainforest Cafe. Love the Christmas tree at AK. Snow storm coming to the East so thinking since we drove might need to check out on 12/5 instead of 12/6 so packed.
Teens wanted to go to Ron Jon. Drove over and spent probably 2 hours in there and a few hundred. OUCH!
12/5-Checked out early at OKW. Called member services and said we had to forfeit our points even though we drove and a snow storm was coming to the east.
Drove straight home. Long drive.
Home and woke up next morning 12/6 to 4 inches on the ground and still snowing. With 3 children we are glad that we did the right thing and came home early. A little sad over missing a days vacation but we are safe and sound and home. Probably going to plan our next vacation at WDW now.
If you are going to WDW for the holidays make sure to take the time to enjoy all the trees and festive decoration through all the parks, hotels, and restaurants. It's truly beautiful to see.
