I have been to Rainforest Cafe several times and some rooms/tables are definitely better than others. We are looking to go to TREX for first time...any recommendations for what we should ask for when we get there???
:listen::banana:popcorn:::rolleyes1

Different perspective - the Ice Cave is neat to walk through during your meal and spend about 30 seconds in there. But the lighting would freak me out if I had to spend a full hour in there.

Wherever you sit, take a stroll through the restaurant and check out the other rooms, even if the one on the back isn't being used.

We sat in the aquarium section this time and it was wonderful. A huge aquarium right by our table.

We have also sat right by a triceratops that moved, it was fun also.

I have never sat in the ice-cave but took lots of pics. I like how it changes colors during the "storm".

Overall, I liked the aquarium section best and would request it again.

My daughter would love the aquarium! Do you request a certain "room" when you check in? Thanks!

I would say it depends on who you are with. We were with my son who is a dinosaur nut and we sat right by the dinosaurs and he was in heaven. However, I thought the ice cave looked awesome and if it had been just me and my DH, I would have preferred that room. The aquarium looked cool too, but we had already eaten at Coral Reef so it was nice to have something different.

I am not sure which room it is, but we sat in a huge corner booth that was inside a big amethyst rock. It was so neat!

I didn't request anything when I checked in, as my DD and I were walk ups and I didn't want to increase my wait time.

When checking in, I would ask for a table by the aquarium. It was an awesome view and fun to check out the fish while we were waiting.
