Saturday 2nd April
Another glorious day and we make use of our early magic hour and go to Hollywood Studios. Even though we are in around 8ish loads people are ahead of us all running for Toy Story Mania. We don't run but walk fast!
We know that in order for Terry and Sara to get on we will have to get them fastpasses early so accept that 2 of us will not go back on (myself and Lisa).
When we get to the TSM area it is chaotic and we decide that Mark and Maurice will get the fastpasses while the rest of us go on straight away. I have not been in the queueing area before as we have always got fastpasses so this was something new and enjoyable.
I especially liked the talking Mr Potatoe Head
It was not long before we were riding and once again this ride proved to be such fun
Rock and Rollin Coaster was next on our to do list and was as good as ever. We had quite a wait for Tower of Terror which too was brilliant. It seems to last forever. (Unfortunately we had a small girl crying hystrically thoughout the whole ride). By now it was time to meet up with Terry and Sara and we go straight on the great movie ride (got the western one this time). We then made our way to Toy Story Mania as the fastpasses were ready, however the ride had broken down so we had to come back later.
Now it was muppet time (which gave Maurice and Mark a chance for a nap!)
We look in the shops and of course try on the hats
We wander down the film set streets taking in the wonderful atmosphere
Have to have the obligatory singing in the rain photo
and a new one for me a cars photo yay
We make our way back to Toy Story Mania which is now up and running and me and Lisa wait outside chatting in the baking sun.
It is now lunchtime and the park is getting very busy so we decide to leave the park and go to the Premium Outlets for lunch and some shopping.
We re-arrange the tables in the foodcourt to make one large enough for 9 of us. Most of us eat at Tacco Bell and we get a great box deal which has way too much food and we are stuffed. Terry and Sara treat the kids to some kind of toffee apple thingy and then we are all ready to shop. Terry and Sara arrange to meet us tonight at the Treehouse as the plan is to try the Olive Garden again. We walked round all the shops. Kirsty and Jack got clothes in the Disney store and Me and Lisa got a great deal with our sketcher flip flops by buying one and getting the other half price, so roughly $33 each. I get gold ones and Lisa gets brown ones. We are not out of these (and the fit flops) the whole holiday making my crocs redundant ahhhh
Back to the Treehouse for a laze and drink on the terrace (and a swim for the kids) and we get ready to go out. We get a call from Terry and Sara to say they had gone past the Olive Garden and they could take our table for 9 immediately. I had forgotten to give Sara our room key to get into the Treehouse entrance so me and Kirsty walk up and meet them at the barrier.
We get a great table for the 9 of us in our own area of the Olive Garden
They do a special deal here of free salad or soup with the main course and once again we all feel stuffed.
They do wonderful belini cocktails here
We go back to the Treehouse for some more drinks, then it is off to bed for another early morning at Magic Kingdom tomorrow
