Tree House Villa

What are the chances of getting a Tree house villa at the 7 month window October/Nov 2011 (for 2 weeks) Are these extremely popular? Has anyone got any links to reviews on this accommodation.

I'd think it would be difficult to get at that time at the 7 month mark.

7 Month reservation are difficulet now since only 30 of the 60 units have been declared and they are new. It may be a little easier next year since the new price on SSR is boosting sales and they may need to declare more, plus some odf the novelty is wearing off. It certainly will not be easy to get one but if you do not have to book 2 weeks in one block you might have a chance to "make up" a reasonalbe number of days at THV within a 2 week timeframe. I slit my 2 week vacations between 2 or 3 resorts so that makes it a lot easier to get time in the high demand resorts rooms.

I just booked today for May 2011, and had no problem with availabilty. Ment to call at the 11 month out day but forgot. Was a little worried, but no problem.

What did concern me was they told me you can only park one car at the tree house! How are 8 people suppose to use one car. They said we could park the other car at SSR which is about a half a mile walk.
I may be rethinking my stay here.

Second, third and more cars are supposed to be parked at the Grandstand area which is a short walk to the THV. Or you can take the bus from THV to the Grandstand and get your car that way.

We were the second to the last THV from being the farthest away and the walk for us to Grandstand was less than 10 minutes. Much faster than waiting on the bus. I'd be more concerned with 8 people using only those 2 small bathrooms.

We thought that the bathrooms were fine. Actually, I thought that the Villas were extremely well designed and felt much bigger than they actually were (and I think that this was probably due to the high ceilings. Really liked that feature...).

It may be difficult at the 7 month window, but if they do not have it available at the 7 months out, call every day until you get it or put your self on a wait-list and hopefully it will come through.
