Anyone have suggestions for treats to try on the Wonder. I have Mickey Bars from room service on my list....but anything else from room service or anywhere else on the ship?? Looking for sweet and savory ideas :)

Chocolate Pillows in the Cove Cafe. My DS loved them :confused3, (pastry in the self serve section end of the bar at Cove). DS had one everyday until they stopped serving any treats in Cove. If you can snatch the recipe from them we would be eternally grateful:yay:.
We never got around to getting the recipe, albeit I found out it was made by the MDR head chef. They were so busy sterilizing the ship I let it go, and everyday since the kid keeps asking about them.

Other items: Almost everything at Palo Brunch, if you like cheese they have Cheese. I love the Parmigiana.
Cookie sandwich (make yourself) Fresh CC Cookie, self serve ice cream, CC Cookie on top. DS and DH love them.
Shrimp cocktail at Lunch in Buffet.

too much food so little time

Newbie question but Cove Cafe?? Where is that/What is that.....and they don't serve stuff anymore or they just ran out. Also is cove cafe included in your cruise or are they extra purchases?

Oh so sorry, I should have mentioned Cove Cafe is a Cafe on deck 9 of the Wonder. They make specialty coffee and tea like espresso, latte, and various cold ones as well - think upscale Starbucks with cordials, drinks etc.. They sell cigars there too. They have a cabinet with pastries and snacks at the end of the bar (PrincessShmoo, on here has pics, I am sure) . It is Adult only, but DS loves Decaf latte in the morning (mostly milk) and a little something. Not a big breakfast fan. So just before Cove area there is a table in the family area where he would sit and I would fetch his breakfast in cove. I got him one of the Chocolate Pillows and he fell in love.
Cove has a drink card you can get where they punch and every 5th or 6th coffee (or any drink) you get free. We are European, so coffee is big deal to us.

We were on the cruise that had a reported health (Noro Virus) issue. They stopped self serve across the whole ship and sterilized everything. When it came to the Cove it was decided to stop serving anything because that cabinet can be accessed by the customer side, so since it wasn't possible to lock it, unless a crew member was to stand there all day, so they suspended the treats. The Coffees, drinks ect.. you pay for but the treats are free :)
I heard that all is back to normal on the Wonder so they should be serving snacks again.

BTW the Cove Drink card is free they give it to you, just ask then buy 5 and get 6th for free or something. We went through 2 for our 9 day between the three of us. Coffee prices are similar to Starbucks.

I am excited about the dry dock. I wasn't even aware of that until after we booked the cruise last summer. It's been a really LONG countdown, but I know it will be here soon enough.

Thanks, She will be so happy, hope they have the cheese to dip them in then she will be in heaven

They weren't mickey shaped, but they were gooooood!! I can't remember if they have cheese.

Side note: We were doing the mixology class and I began to realize I needed some bread. So during the middle of the class, I high-tailed it up to deck 9 for pretzels for the 4 of us in the class!

chocolate lava cake at dinner.......yummmm

OMG -- again with the pictures! Now I'm sitting at the library circulation desk drooling! [how do you find your pictures so fast!?!]
