Travelocity's so busy today that all I get is a recorded message telling me to call back later. I've been trying through WDW to get Ft. Wilderness campsite for Xmas, but it's been all booked. Travelocity is showing an availability, but I'm afraid to take it without knowing the cancellation policy. Website is very vague on this subject! Any help would be appreciated. We were flying, but are now going to drive our motorhome, and the only way DS is going to get to spend Xmas at WDW is if I can get this ressie!

They are VERY VERY vague I was able to cancel mine with no penalty but on the "good" value hotels it says you will be charged. Sorry I cant help more if you look at the info for the hotel/resort it should tell you wether you can cancel or not.

with "Tanya" from Travelocity as I type this (after, oh, 1/2 hour waiting on the phone, I've gotten bored!). Turns out that Ft. Wilderness is booked even through Travelocity, too bad, so sad. Cancellation would have been up to five days prior, full amount refunded, within five days, forfeit one night's fees. Oh, well, we'll keep trying!

For future information. Unless you book a special value fare on Travelocity you are subject to the cancellation of the hotel you are booking. I don't think Travelocity has ever had a special value rate for a Disney hotel so it is the 5 day policy.

The Special Value rate indicates clearly on the reservation page that it is a special value and what the cancellation policy is.
