If I recall it was a week or so before we stopped feeling like we were swaying a bit. Hope you get your sea legs and feel better soon so we can hear all about your trip!!

Ok thought I would start a little bit of a trip report for you all to read...


I will not start with the WDW since I really want to tell you about the cruise...Oh heck I will give you a shorten version of the WDW trip...

Tickets and ready to go...

We left our house at about 5:30 am.. Got the kids out of bed put them into the car that was packed like we were going for a month not two weeks.... Put them into the car in their pj's.. They finally come to when they hear my mom and I talking and one asks, "Are we going to MK today?" We tell her yes and then she yells, "SISTER WAKE UP WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO MK!!!!!!"

So much for them sleeping on the way to the airport.. Little note here my kids have always flown anywhere we have gone with their "best friends." AKA"grandma and grandpa... Who this trip will not be flying down till Wed. When they drop us off at the airport my kids are upset that they are not coming. The flight down they were not too happy that they were not with us.

Got to MCO and took the Magical Express to SSR.. We love coming Home here and so do the kids. The weather was perfect when we arrived and I packed our suits in the carryon and we swam all afternoon till our room was ready. My friend from Orlando came with her two kids to see us and took me to the store to get water etc.. Great Walmart near downtown Disney for anyone who wants to go the next time you are there...

Ok, we are all beat from the flight etc. We eat at the Turf CLub that night great meal.. We did the Dining Plan this time to try it out.. SMART to do the dining plan the week before we are going on the cruise. Great we will all look like butter ball turkeys when we board the cruise....

Monday we go to MK and eat lunch in Cindy's Castle great time and the pictures came out great. I will add pictures later...Had a great time as a family doing all of the rides etc. I got soo happy walking down Main Street when Hanna burst out in song. "I'm walk'in right down the Middle of Main Street USA." Tooo cute...

Tues. we went to DownTown Disney just me and the kids since I wanted to have an easy morning since we were doing the Halloween party that night. Bruce went to AK to ride the new roller coaster and was one of the first riders. LUcky him. He gets off and gets right back on again. The CM calls him over the second time he gets off and asks him if he knows about this year being the year of a million dreams. Then tells him that his dream is about to be granted and tells him he can ride the ride five more times if he would like and hands him a landyard with six more Fast passes attached to it for diff. rides in AK. Tells him the landyard is his to keep and enjoy his trip. Naturally he rides it five more times in the front and calls me to tell me he will be at AK a bit longer than planned. He returns with the landyard around his neck and all day long CMs telling him CONGRATS!!!!Then we get ready around two to head to MK for the party end up getting there around threeish. Then we had dinner with Pooh at 3:50 early but all I could get... Then we do some rides get the kids in costume and have a BLAST at the Halloween Party.....

Next morning Wed. we are tuckered out sleep in and then in the afternoon head back too MGM. Fun do some rides and Hanna is cranky we return to swim at SSR she is totally happy....Eating to much on this darn meal plan.... My parents arrive today the kids will be happy to see them at MK..

Thurs. morning where the heck has the week gone.. Well we still have the cruise to look forward too...Weather has been perfect....tooo.....We go to EPCOT to eat breakfast in Norway with the princesses.... The twins love it and so do we they are soo very happy.. Then we ride Soar'in they love it mom is scared but what else is new...I can not believe my kids have ridden splash mountain, big thunder and now Soar'in man they are getting older.. I remember the first time when we took them at ten months old they only could barely ride the carousal....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!Where does the time go???? Then we attempt to go on the new Nemo ride and Test Track both are shut down for repair...So we take the Monorail over to meet "The Best Friends." Well you would have thought they had not seen each other in weeks and not just a few days. Keep in mind this is the longest my kids have gone without seeing my parents.....
We ride more rides at MK. Take pictures etc.. Then eat our last table service at Tony's... Well the meal plan has already more than paid for itself after this meal......

Friday we hang out with our Orlando friends at SSR and pack and rest for the big morning tomorrow...
Tonight I met one of my Dis board friends at the lobby of SSR he was supposed to be on my cruise and changed to a diff. sailing. Tom and ALicia loved meeting you and thanks for the gifts for the kids.. YOu are too kind. and such a nice family.......

Well I return to the room to find DH watching TV and soo excited that we both can not fall asleep finally tomorrow we will be on the boat....YIPEE!!!!!!!!

MORE OF THE TRIP OF LIFETIME!!!!!!!!
The limo comes at 8:00 am... We want to be one of the first at the prot. UGH!!! We awake to it pouring rain...

We have to go to the main lobby of SSR by golf cart in the rain... THe kids are cranky since we have had to wake them up...

How will the sail away party take place like this.....How can this be happening???

We arrive and there is our ten person stretch limo.... Boy we look important.. LOL.....
My parents are there waiting.. Now the fun begins for the driver trying to pack ten suitcases into the limo....HA HA!!!!!!!!I am getting the look from DH do I really need 12 pairs of shoes.....
It all fits and we are on our way with the Lion King playing and we are soo excited I can not contain it anymore...

Finally, we see the boat in the distance and the rain starts to come down hard now....
We are there to early the driver says so we have to go to the parking lot to wait... We meet some other DIS memembers due to Hanna yelling out the limo window to them. She reconized their DIS green bracelets we all got well ordered for the Halloween sailing.
Finally ten straight up.. We can get out.. We meet more DIS friends. This is great. We load up our luggage to the porter go through security cooler in tow and all.. We are in the elevator going upstairs to check in for the cruise. I start crying we are finally here.. DH just rolling his eyes!!!LOL....

Checked in and we are number three to board. It is great all of our DIS friends are here and we are seeing MInnie and Mickey...
We go to the kids clubs check in and go to get the kids the bracelets. and Hanna who is a nervous wreck to get onto the boat. Since she just realized that the boat was going to actually move. LOL....What did she think well she is only four.. Decides to yell out in the line to the other kids getting bracelets, "Don't put the bracelet on if you do they will lock you up like Hansel and Gretel and never let you out." The CM looks horrified and so do we she says maybe you should come back later...Great idea now other kdis are crying Oh great leave this up to our twins to start this craziness..Thanks.....I am ready to dis own them already and we have not even left. DH and I are in the bathroom talking to them telling them to not say things like this and that they are going to have fun etc.. Hanna is telling us she does not want to go and is afraid..Oh great I paid 5,000 for you not to want to go oh good.. This should be a fun week....

We get called to board. They do not want their picture taken they well one of them cover their eyes for the picture!! Great Dh is thrilled that we are going now.. We are now known as the family with the only kids who do not want to go on MICKEY's boat.....LUCKY US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I scream now!!!??????

They announce Princess Hanna Rose and Princess Hope this makes the kids smile ...How nice a smile!!! I have to go to the Rockin Bar to change our table numbers. Some how they put my parents at the table with my kids and me and DH at a table all by ourselves...Maybe I should just leave it alone!!!! We get it all set. And go and have lunch...
Meanwhile during lunch Hanna is still crying she wants to get off the boat..OH good I will be the only mother who is trying to jump ship before we even sail....

Hope swims and loves the water slide.Our room is ready at exactly 1:30. Thank goodness for Olivia....Our dis friend she swam with Hope all afternoon. Then we go to our room.. Hanna is a bit more happy but still nervous soo unlike her what is going on????!!!!!

We go to the Sail Away party and have front row spots the characters and the dancers and CM are all talking to my kids, along with Heather's and Jen's kids. The kids are loving it Hanna finally dances a bit. Then we leave and go to get ready for dinner.
Well the boat is finally moving no getting off now Hanna!!!!!!!
Get to dinner she is miserable. I have to take her back to the room and the servers bring me dinner and dessert to the room.. She is finally asleep she has got to be better in the morning right. Well she sleeps nearly 15 hours that night....Ok is she sick what is happening to our kids. while one is fine the other one is not....OK I am on the verge of tears what is wrong?? Well, Dh assures me things will be better in the am...
Sail Away Party!!

Ok we get up have breakfast. She is crying still....We decide to let them see the club. They want to stay good sign. Right??!!! Wrong.. We leave them and go to a DVC Welcome Home presentation... GOOD DH decides he wants to add on more points to our contract at SSR.. We go and check on the kids. They want out. To many kids.. Ok Hope wants to swim with OLivia great. Hanna is crying still...I go to the pool.. DH decides to stay with HOPE... Thank goodness for Jen she comes to the room with me and Hanna and convinces me that it will get better.... She thinks it is the sea sickeness meds. I gave Hanna...Oh how could it be my dr. told me to give it to her.. Well, my mom now stays with Hanna who is asleep again.... Great she was awake a whole four hours so far this trip!!!!! Poor baby!!!
I have to go with Heather my Dis buddy to put up the door signs for our DIS trick and treat. I come back she is still asleep.. She finally awakes....I call the onboard dr. Tell them what is wrong, no fever etc. they ask if I have given her Bonenine.. (sorry do not know how to spell it).. It ell them yes half a pill per instructed by my ped.....They tell me , STOP!!!! She is having an adverse reaction and it is like giving her four tsp. of benadryl... Give her twelve hours and she will be fine. She is crying since she is in such a fog and will most likely not get sea sick since most her age do not...Oh god How do I feel like mother of the year. Don't I ?????????

MOnday morning comes and we are going to have our DIS trick and treat. We have 38 kids signed up and 22 rooms to go to..WOW!!!! Hanna is up and ready to go..Thank Goodness!!!!!

Not boring at all. Boy do I feel your pain though. It is so hard to have a child that doesn't like anything that is going on and you know they should be having a blast. We experienced that on our our trip with the grandsons in September. I'm sure hoping the trip will get better for you really soon.

I promised more of the boring report...LOL!!!!!!!


Monday comes and it is OCT 30th. But the kids do not know nor care all they know is that it is time to trick and treat... WE spend the morning hanging out by the pool...Then feed the kids a quick lunch that they are really not into...

Head back to the room and get them dressed. I give DH instructions on what to hand out and what bags are boys and what are girls...Etc...

We meet in the lobby for a Dis trick and treat picture...WOW!! All of the kids look great. I promise I will post some pictures....

Dis trick and treat!!

We have 38 kids. We finally get the kids into groups and hand out the buckets that we personalized (Heather and myself for each of the kids to use to collect their treats) As it turns out the kids needed to have much larger buckets to collect their treats in...

Hanna is ready to go and we begin the trip around the large ship to 22 rooms on all of the decks. The kids have more energy than the four adults do in our group.
I was so impressed with my DH we get to our room and he has purple and orange lights hung up and invites the kids into the room and has the lights turned down etc. The kids thought it was cool and called it their own little haunted house..

When we are done I am beat the kids unload all of the candy onto our bed it covers the entire queen size bed. I opt for the kids not to partake in the DCL Trick and treat since they have gotten soo much for our very generous Dis Members. Thanks to all who partook....

Formal Night Golden Mickey's Show!!! Hope was interviewed before the show!! TOO CUTE!!!!

Since DCL is celebrating Halloween tonight so they can do Pirates IN the Caribeean as scheduled tomorrow 10/31. We will all be wearing our costumes to dinner.

The kids eat a ton of candy and Dh is off to the beer tasting with my dad. I get the kids ready to go to dinner.. They play in the room with their Dis Friends Olivia and Cameron while Jen and I eat more of the candy...LOL!!!!!

Dinner was great. DH is prince charming and I am Cinderella I promise pictures will be forth coming....


Then we head off to the show and the kids are totally loving the shows every night...

I am so beat every night I can not wait to crawl into my bed.


Tuesday morning... ST. Marteen...We are so excited to be in port we pull into port and we are the second ship there. We get off the boat by 8:45. We start to shop a bit but the kids are wanting to go to the beach. DH and I find the most perfect ring it is an anniversary band. With five one carat diamonds. She gives us a great price.. The kids want out of the store. We telll her we will be back in the afternoon...
Thanks to DanielleVT from the boards here we go to the most perfect little beach called LIttle DIvvi Bay Beach just awesome the kids swim and love the beach..Another faamily from the cruise is there two we are the only two..I am shocked this beach is perfect for all families.....
Hanna ends up falling asleep on the beach for two hours. Wakes up and is totally ready to go....Weird...SHe is still tired. Dh and I spend an hour discussing how tired she is on the beach....
She wakes up and is ready to go...Ok the meds still in her I am told and she will get better every day.. She is already so much better... I really feel bad that I gave her the meds...

The kids loved the beach and are sad to be going back to the boat...

We head back oh Wait the ring.. We decided to head back to the boat and see if my parents are back yet they are dad is taking a nap. SO mom says she will watch the kids in our room while we go back and get the ring.

We get back off the boat and get two beers for DH and a frozen drink for me....We shop and decided to get the ring.. Boy I love my husband...

We get back on and order our daily cheese platter while getting ready for pirate night. The kids did not want to be pirates so they dress up as Tinker Belle...So cute....

ST. Thomas... Boy did we have fun.....ANd Yes Hanna is better but still takes a nap...LOL!!!!!!
We went to our favorite spot in ST. Thomas where we honeymooned and renewed our wedding vows with friends!! Bolongo Bay love the resort and the family that owns it is great... OUr friend Vernitta is the BEST!!!!

Thursday is our last sea day and then tomorrow is CC....

Today we just hang out sleep late... etc....Order room service etc...

I am off to the spa with my DIS friend Heather for a couples massage...LOL!!! Yes, couples massage... That was the app. she could get so we took it...It was fun....Had a few good laughs especially when they start the massage and the door opens it is the manager looking for a clients key.. Works to our advantage they take 20% off our bill for distrubing us....

We spent time every night taking pictures with the characters.. Here are a few...

Friday morning we are so excited we are out on the verhandah at 6:30 waiting to spot CC!!! Finally, it is there. We are on the best side of the ship we are able to watch us pull right into CC!!!
Oh my gosh it is more beautiful than the pictures of it.
We have so much fun swimming, eating, etc...

We are sad to have to get back onto the boat. Me and the twins are crying
as we are pulling away from CC!!!!

All I have to say is what a MAGICAL and special vacation this was.. How perfect six days at WDW and then a week on the MAGIC... I feel sooo blessed and so lucky to have shared this time with my family and we made some great memories on this trip... Thanks DISNEY...Since we have been home all we talk about is planning our next trip next SEPT.....Thanks to all of you for help and advice!!!! I am so greatfull my parents were able to share all of this with my kids....Thanks for reading my report and putting up with all of my blabber..LOL!!!!!


Tuckered out.. Our last night here....The seas were sooo rough this night. 13 feet high seas...The kids did not even notice.....
Heck, Hanna spent the first part of the week this way...LOL!!!!!
