I will sure be looking forward to a TR when you return!Kristen, I saw your thread on the cruise board and that you were looking for a calm beach. We loved the beach we were at (Great Bay) but it was a little rough. They had the water trampoline there and you could see the ships from the beach. Also shopping right behind your seat and food and restrooms. Our group felt it was the best day of our cruise there, and we'd go again. I just don't know if you'd like it there to relax as the surf was a little rough. If not for that, I'd say go for it. It seemed like others were suggesting beaches that might be as beautiful with calmer water.kritter said:One more thing Pea-N-Me where would you recommend to go to in ST. Marteen for the beach.. We leave on Sunday for our trip!!!!!!!!
Have a wonderful trip, can't wait to hear all about your cruise!! I think it would be fantastic to be on the Magic for Halloween. I'm sure they'll do it up right!!

At any rate, wanted to say, I haven't forgotten what I PMd you about. Between work, the kids' birthday party this weekend and getting ready to go to WDW tomorrow, I've been kind of strung out if you know what I mean. We'll probably miss eachother here, but I still plan to do what I said, probably next week when we get home.Have a wonderful trip, can't wait to hear all about your cruise!! I wil seperate my kids in the first grade. They are in preschool now, together and will go to K together. If we had 3 Kindergarten classes , I would probably have seperated them next year. Even this year my kids have different friends. I do feel like one of my kids is overshadowed by the other two, and I do think he would blossom on his own. My kids are very different from eachother, I couldn't even get them to coordinate costumes this year (trust me that was hard for me to let go off).
It should be the parents' decision and I believe that there is legislature (not sure if it were passed), that we can not be forced to seperate. Good Luck with your decision
Kristin you must be so excited!!!! You are going to just LOVE the cruise. I can't remember what beach we went to in St Marten. We took the water taxi over. The beach was nice, the area was Ok. Have a great trip
eta I think It was called Paradise
it was close to the ship the water was very calm, and you could rent chairs and umbrellas. I just wasn't thrilled with town. There were shops we got the kids beach toys and Mcdonalds
huey duey & luey said:the town was fine, just not very pretty. when you are on the beach look ahead instead of behind and you will be fine![]()

I am also the proud grandparent of new fraternal granddaughters (who are one month old). Although these children are born on the same day, usually just minutes apart, they are individuals. Not all twins want to be together. We must all take into consideration their feelings. All children need quidance. But we need to ask whether they want to be in the same class. As parents, you know your child better than any school will ever know them. You need to involved in ALL aspects of your child's education. Don't ever let a school system pressure you into doing what you consider to be wrong. You have rights. Your child has rights. Stand up and be counted. I love it when a parent calls, writes or comes to the school to talk about their child's education. Unfortunately, I see few of the parents of the 150 students I teach each year. I want their input. Not just with difficulties that might be occuring, but with the everyday boring occurences that might be effecting their education. A sick, injured or absent parent causes great stress on our students. There may be teachers out there that don't want the extra work or stress of worrying about their students, but I have taken kids home or picked kids up who have missed the bus. I even had a student stay with my family for a couple of weeks when one parent was terribly ill and there was no where for her to go when the father traveled to another state to be with his wife during surgery. I want you all to know that there are teachers out there that do care about your child. We want them to succeed and will try every new concept to reach them. But we NEED your imput. So go ahead, step up. Don't let anyone tell you what's good for YOUR child.

KarlaG4Kids said:If you like to snorkle or want to try it, you can buy snorkle gear much cheaper in Florida before getting on the ship. I think we paid about $3 for each set of mask and snorkel. WELL worth it. A few drinks for you to keep in your cabin is always nice. Otherwise, just go and have a great time. You can get whatever you are missing on the ship or in ports!

kritter said:Was thinking of getting the kids a few drink boxes for the ports and we are getting some alcohol from our friends who live in Orlando..
What cruise have you done again?????
My kids keep telling the kids in their preschool how excited they are and how they get to go to WDW and MK every year.. Great the other parents will love to hear that!!!!!!!!![]()
