What do you recommend doing? I'm hoping staying at the AKL will convert her, but if it doesn't happen, then what??? So far, I've got a PS for Jiko's and tickets for Cirque one night, and a PS for V&A's on another. Beyond that, I'm open to ideas, I was thinking Adventurers Club one evening, but I'm also looking for daytime activities, since staying in Disney the entire stay is not an option she wants to consider. Personally, I don't understand it, how can you not love Disney??? Anyway, I'm just trying to think of other options.

Are you going to EPCOT I always think that is a good park for the non-disney fans.

The Adventurers Club is good. What about some of the special things like riding upfront on the monorail we took some non-disney friends on this one year and they were blown away.

Or do they like waterparks I think Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are also good daytime places. And walking around the Boardwalk in the afternoon is quite nice.

I say dont push it. If she is already agreed to go, then make plans and let Disney do its magic. No one likes to be proven wrong, so don't say things like "See, I told you that you would like that," after each attraction. Don't put on any pressure or make a big deal out of it. Just let her discover the magic on her own. It will happen. ;)

I agree that she will begin to enjoy herself once she gets there and sees for herself. I also agree that Epcot is a good choice for starters. I have a hard time imagining anyone who cannot enjoy WDW. They have an idea of what it is and will then see that it is not just a kiddie park. We go every other year and the past 3 years have gone every year and my DH has yet to go with us. I've insisted that he go with me for our 25th anniversary and I can't wait to get him there because I just KNOW he'll love it. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

I agree with the other advice you have been offered. Would your friend agree to "humor" you and visit the parks at all with you? I would concentrate on EPCOT and MGM. Just let the magic find you and your friend and don't comment on it.

Adventurers Club is a hoot- I can spend an entire evening at PI just at the Adventurer's Club :)
