GOOD MORNING!! It's good to see there are earlier birds than me!
I slept last night, just had a problem getting to sleep!

Jim and Chris - CONGRATULATION AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Thirty years is amazing! We'll toast you on the boat. I hope you two have ressies for Palo so you can spend a nice quiet dinner together! Until then, stay warm and safe up there in the snow! No big surprise about Edinboro's snow, eh? I remember walking to class through massive snow drifts. I'd die if I had to do that now. Oh to be young again. Sandy - Don't you miss it even a little bit?

Last trip DS was 12 and we let him sign in and out of the club. He was with 2 buddies and we didn't have any problems.

When we first moved down it took a while to get used to seeing all the outside Christmas lights and decorations without snow, but now I don't miss it at all. DS thinks I'm depriving him because I've never taken him to see snow. I keep telling him we will someday.



I just wanted to mention that my MIL lost her sense of smell/taste a few years ago and she thinks it was from taking Zicam.

Good morning all. NOBODY is allowed to be sick!! Being sick is hearby banished from this ship! Judy, your ship is just about to reach the end of the ticker! Maybe this lack of sleep the last few days is your body's way of training for the cruise. I know I go to bed much later than normal, and always wake up early for the sunrise.

Sunrise? What sunrise? I got up to see it everyday the last time I sailed the Magic and never saw a good one. All I got for my trouble was chased around by the thing that washes the sides of the ship. I was sooo disappointed because I LOVE sunrises. I thought that maybe It had something to do with the horizon or something. Was I just unlucky?

Thats a perfect location. They do have a bar there, can they provide a bar tender? judging from this group, they could probably bring in enough cash to pay for the fuel for the trip in that one hour!!

Sunrise? I never go to bed before 1 a.m. and often later...my 5.5 hours of sleep does not include sunrise...me and Garfield definitely have that in common.

And welcome to warm sunny Florida...wait..the sunny part is there...but, well, even here in SOUTH Florida, we may hit the 40's tonight...but we are still around 70-75 for highs.

We also need some prayers and pixie dust at our house again (and this time no one was shot ). My DH and his father own a dairy farm together, so it's really hard to get away. Last Thursday, my FIL was put on oxygen. They've run all kinds of tests and can't find anything, but when he does any sort of physical activity, his blood oxygen drops down in the 80's. I don't think my MIL really wants us to go on this trip. The doctor said my FIL should take it easy. He has another appointment tomorrow. We don't have trip insurance, and I don't want to sail without Brian. I'm just sad and sick. I'm not even going to pack anything tonight. It's just depressing me, so I'm waiting until tomorrow night.

AWESOME location!! Depending on DD nap at least one of us will be there.

Ok - I have joined and been reading other peoples posts about their trips....is this meeting by invitation only? I would love to come and meet some of the people who I have reading about!

We have some kids of cattle ranchers at our school. shall I fed ex you some....I know a diary farm is not exactly the same but close. Let me know and I will pack up a teenager or two and send them your way.

Susan . . . . Our prayers are with you . . . . I hope that everything turns out okay. I can say that my Dad is not in the best of health and was a factor of us booking/not booking this cruise. I was so concerned that he was going to deteriorate by this time of year, but he is doing pretty good. I hope the same for your FIL.

My "cold" seems to be holding it's own. I've heard about the Zicam and losing sense of smell. I'm wondering how long a person has to use it before they lose their sense of smell. I used it twice today..very little and I'm going to hold off unless I feel it coming on stronger.

Grab bag gifts....don't pack them!! Make sure they are in your carryons!

Suzy - You are genius! I never thought about putting the grab bag gift in my carry on. I would have packed it and then stood there and said "Duh" when I couldn't get to it!

Susan - I am praying for your FIL. I hope they can find the cause of his low oxygen levels and he can get back to normal. I'm thinkin' about you guys!

I received a package in the mail today. My sister, whom I adore, sent me a Mickey carry on bag for the trip! She's the best. I want to go to WDW and/or the cruise with her and we just can't seem to get the timing right. We're shooting for next September. I hope we can get it together!

I'm looking forward to sunrises and sunsets. But most of all I want to see stars in a clear Caribbean sky!!!

I can hear DS and DH downstairs talking about the trip right now. They keep wondering why I booked a flight at 6am. I did it cause I could! More time at WDW!! They said they're not going to sleep because we have to be at the airport by 4am. I'm not going to sleep because I'll be too excited!
