When I booked last year with Thomas Cook I got my travel documents about 2 weeks before departure which stated I needed to take with me to check in

Ive not received anything as yet and chased Thomas Cook up who seem to think itll be with me early next week!

Ive booked disney express this time so what do I need to do when I get to the Eurostar? Do I need the disney travel document to check in there?

Hey I've just booked with Thomas cook as well but have Been told It's all pretty much paperless now, waiting for My confirmation direct from Disney then won't get anything until I check In at the air port then will get VEA transfer then more at hotel At booking in then VEA transfer on check out, it's all a bit odd that I get practically nothing :-s. When are you traveling?

When did you book?
I was told i'd get it in a few days and i booked it on tuesday will be looking out for it next week. I'd double check with Thomas cook that you have everything that you need to travel, they can ring Disney direct to check on everything, when i booked they spoke to them directly and confirmed the booking, best way i feel. what did you get from them 1st off? i have my basic booking info and flight info and stuff, they said thats pretty much what i need.
:confused3:confused3:confused3

We booked through Thomas Cook and again they said we don't actually receive any tickets, just a comfirmation letter from Disney, which we have received. We have been told just to show this when checking into our hotel. We go next saturday.

oh thats good, how long did it take to recieve your confirmation from Disney?

I've booked 2 of our holidays via Thomas Cook, the first time we had a confirmation letter from Disney the second time, last year, we were told that we would receive a letter around 10 days before departure but in fact, we received nothing as Thomas Cook said that they didn't have anything from Disney so we travelled with just the Thomas Cook payment receipt they printed when we paid the holiday in full.

To be honest, no one asked for anything, we booked the Eurotunnel with them too and just put in the booking number at the check in and all was well and when we arrived at the hotel, we just filled in the check in form and that was it.

Sorry I can't help much with Thomas Cook specifically, but if you're going via Eurostar I can help a bit.

If you don't have Eurostar tickets yet they'll most probably be waiting at the station for you. Just show your passports as proof of identity.

For Disney Express: if you're travelling from St Pancras you will be given all your hotel documents on board, including tickets for the park, park guide and luggage labels. Attach the luggage labels to your cases. When you get the the station in Disneyland, go to the top floor of the station (this is very well signposted) and you will see the Disney express desk where you had your lugggage over.

This means you can just go straight into the park, and there is no need to check into your hotel first.

If you're catching the Eurostar from Ashford, the same applies, although they usually have Disney CM's in the waiting lounge, where you will be given all the hotel/park pass/ luggage details.

Good luck :goodvibes

Last September we got a confirmation letter from Disney too and this year nothing. Thomas Cook told me the same too theye received nothing from Disney. They rang Disney and Disney told them they would send something out :confused3

Thankyou!Do you know if it works the same if you bought travel seperately but added on disney express?

Sorry, I don't know. Who did you add Disney Express on with? Was it Eurostar directly or was it the travel agent?

I'd check with whichever it was as someone needs to give you the luggage labels for Disney Express, unless you pick them up at the counter when you get there :confused3

I thought you could only add Disney Express directly through the Disney?? Unless you booked the whole package and then it's included anyway. When you add the express service, you simply quote your train and your booking number, and they coordinate everything for you. It will work in the same way which ever way you choose, you pick up your documents from the Eurostar Terminal DE desk, or sometimes in Ashford they will pass through the train with your papers as they know where you are sitting from your Eurostar tickets :thumbsup2

I added DE with my disney hotel booking. So I get on eurostar as normal and just take my luggage to DE desk when I get off and they give me the labels, park tickets?

I think you need to query this with Thomas Cook. Isn't that the whole point of booking through a travel agent, that they'll do the chasing around for you? :confused3

Appears Disney now email the documents to travel agents as Thomas Cook has just forwarded it to me.
